You do know that the renegade isn't designed to have those larger tires due to it being geared 19% lower than the xmr right? Bye bye warranty when you force a break...in tranny or axles.
Great analysis, thank you! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
They are bronze wheels we got them off of Amazon website I wanna say they are ITP hurricanes and the exhaust was great all throughout the ownership of the quad but we traded it in and went with a 2023 can am renegade xmr 1000cc. All the goodies went with the quad when we traded it in.
@@cjpatton3942 no problems at all, I spoke directly with rjwc before I ordered and they said it was a direct fit. Plus the bike was new so I don’t have any mud or rust on the exhaust pipes so everything came off and slid on easy. And nothing was crooked everything was straight. Hardest part was getting the springs on and even that wasn’t too bad.
Can you bypass most of the mud holes? My buddies want to go in their lifted can ams and RZRs But i only have a sportquad so I don't want be getting stuck ever few minutes
No I don’t, I bought both used on Facebook marketplace. The rack is factory BRP linq rack plastic that fits on can am outlanders and renegades, and the box is the sound system box from BRP.
Not sure why you topped out at 84. I have the same bike, tuned by the same guy with the same air filter and mine hit 91. The only difference is that I have the Yoshimura slip on.
How much do you weigh. That factors in it plus wind drag and psi in tires. And also elevation and terrain if you are going down hill. I was on a flat road, i weight I think around 174 pounds in that video. Added weight with the rack, box, Winch, and things in the box, and I think I was running about 7 psi in the tires at that time.
@@ffoffroadchannelfranzfoley2856 I weigh 172 lbs, level road @ 800ft elevation and 8 psi. no rack / box though. my speedo was bouncing from 92 - 91 but the top speed the bike logged on the speedo was 91. damn fast for an atv...
@@eddietolbert8452 it depends on the mail carriers, if everything works out right the tuner should have it done within 3-5 business days when it arrives at his shop so about a week you should get it back. Ray Parker is usually quick on these things. People complain that he doesn’t communicate but to be honest his time is more valuable tuning that being on emails answering all types of unimportant questions. Just tell him what you want done on the ecu and let him do the work. You won’t be disappointed, both bikes were like night and day after the tune.
I've owned a first gen renegade 800 and now an outlander. Word of advice, tear that primary clutch down now and replace the one way bearing with a solid aftermarket substitute. You'll save yourself some headaches out on the trail. This last one failed on me with less than 12 hours on it.
We are well over 50 hours and never had any issues on either the 22 renny xxc 1000 or the 23 renny xmr 1000. So hopefully we won’t have that problem, but thanks for the heads up.
Is it still only The yellow one that gets the better handlebars and the diff lock? Or do they All get it now, last year only the yellow ugly ones got the added cool stuff lol..
It depends on what model you buy, there are base model renegades and then premium renegades you can buy, the xmr 1000 is the top tier, right under that is the xxc 1000 then you just keep going down from there as far as price and available upgrades.
@@ffoffroadchannelfranzfoley2856 yeah I know what the models are lol. The xmr comes in yellow or red. 2021 only the yellow xmr got the kicker and last year I thought only the yellow one again got it.
@@xGR1MxREAPERx yeah, I really don’t know. I never followed can am until I was looking at purchasing my first quad in 2022 and got the 2022 xxc renegade 1000r.
Have the renegades always not had plastic over the motor on the side panel? I took them off on my outlander to let it breathe. Plastic would get so hot.
Can you really explain reliable, if you drive it like a grandpa it will last you a long time. You got to understand the more hp you put through a bike the more likely you are to break something. I think they are worth every penny, but I do wish it was a little cheaper.
Do the handguards match the bumpers? I just came from the dealer and saw the outty1k. God that can am "red" is hideous. If it were orange or red fine but wtf is that supposed to be
@@ffoffroadchannelfranzfoley2856 Thanks for the replys. Ive got my deposit down for one but just seen an outy 1k in same color today. Was hoping maybe it was a 23 with leftover magma red (which I thought was supposed to be orangish) bumpers. Guess not.
@@ffoffroadchannelfranzfoley2856 looks like canam really knocking other I did have my eye on that 1000 Polaris. But I'm happy with my xmr 1000 outlander. She's a pure u tame beast. I don't get to ride her much. Due to working alot here In va. But when I do I show her no mercy.
Don’t know yet we haven’t ran both yet since we tuned the xmr and put rjwc exhaust on the 2023 but I’m guessing the xxc will have the higher top speed. But I will post another video of that content.
@@ffoffroadchannelfranzfoley2856 I have a camp just north of greensburg not 20mins from tower trax we’ve had people come on our land bc they’ve gotten lost
@@ffoffroadchannelfranzfoley2856 Good vid bro, but pan back from the subject of video, so people can see whole shot, unless your highlighting a specific area, just FYI, I do a lot of RU-vid prormo's
@@michaelmancini5773 thanks bro for the pointers, I’m new to the RU-vid videos, I have no equipment for video except for my iPhone. So I’m learning as I go and eventually will buy a go pro.
My thoughts are if you can afford it then go with the bigger motor. I know people who are extremely happy with the 650 or 570 cc engines but I wanted the 1000cc so here we are. No regurts lol
Sorry to disappoint bro, my camera was set at a horrible angle plus we are just breaking in the engine for the oil change so there wasn’t any awesome footage yet.
Yeah after commenting on your beautiful monster can-am, I decided to buy one today - The XXC 1000R it will be at the dealership on January the 15 can't wait woohoo for us I guess lol
