I don't believe a word he said. He was playing dumb for the camera. We know he dug the hole in the garden to bury a bone. There were no witnesses or cctv I think a jury would aquit.. He deserves home detention
Incredible photography, I can only imagine the Kookaburra was softening up the Dragon Lizard's muscles before swallowing and having its after lunch bath.
I think it was making sure it was dead Bill. That is a very young Dragon and I guess it's bones would be softish. The Kookaburras do down all sorts of stuff including snakes and birds.
Wow,. He really is a big healthy looking boy. Love way his ears rotate like a radar. The habit of licking their paws can be a sign of stress. I was attacked by large female grey when I was the ranger at hanging Rock. I was trying remove a group of stupid tourist who were crowding it when it turned on me. No damage done but it went for the jewels a few times.
Beautiful camera work, so many pleasing views, especially liked the view showing the reflection of the tree in the pool in land, the unusual views of the aeroplane propellers frozen, that is some camera you have. 🎥
Thanks Bill. The reflection shot (taken just after cyclone Oswald) was on Chambers Island in the middle of the Maroochy River. It and many of the shots including planes were taken with my Olympus OMD and some with my Lumix and others with the Sony.
He's an intimidating dude. That long lense does a nice job. Is there a mob nearby or is he really missing out .he looks strong and fit enough but maybe he's old.
Not sure if he is a dude (did not see a horse anywhere or cowboy hat) but best to keep clear as they are very powerful. The mob is in another part of our area. You may be right Geoff, perhaps he has been usurped and that may also account for the lack of a horse/hat.
Was the frill eyeing of the Flutterby. Would be nice to have bit of precipitation here. A bit north of you the animals are all queing to board the boat. Ate our first tomato yesterday. Called it Vlad the black Russian
