Thank you you are one of the few people who compare the f75 to anything I'm looking at the f75 and the extera to see what I'm going to buy I won't be buying a gerret because I've had a couple and they seem to false more than other detectors
How did this mod work for you? And what size pipe plug did you use in the hose? Everything i see says 1 inch but on my 600 1 inch would be super hard to get in. ¾ inch one that i have seems really tight to get in also lol
I use a Fisher F75 LTD and I could tell you were locating trash just by the low & high tones you were getting while swinging side to side. As far as coin numbers, quarters hit at 82 dimes at 70 as well as copper pennies. Zinc coins hit around 62.
Hello! My Fisher F75 Ltd with the CORS Fortune 9.5" x 5.5" and the CORS Scout 12.5x8.5", cleans up missed targets behind anyone using a CTX 3030. Fact!
Perth Western Australia here June 2023. The only person who can fix my broken screen is in Sydney. $375 to repair it plus $230 shipping each way. But there is a 50% chance that my model has a one of the 2 type of screens installed on the ctx 3030. One is for the price above, the other type has been discontinued. If I want to replace it in this case, they have to replace the main board at an extra $825 but they can only tell which one is on my machine after disassembly. And they won't sell me the part. Do the math, just buy another second hand detector. You would think a brand like minelab has stock or at least records of how each machine has been built. What is the serial number for then? Disappointed...
Most coins rings and even gold nuggets will be at 4 to 8 inchs no need for a detector that goes 12 - 18 inches and yes there will be treasures there but be ready for lots of digging so when you go out you're either going shallow to mid digs or you are going real deep digs all is in a days work
Jacking the sled up like this? Why not just stand on the opposite footwell, and yank it over, let it lean on two stacked nil crates, save yourself about 10 minutes
Great series of videos. I had to change starter las year befor my crank blew. There is a hole which is hidden under the clamp holding stabilizer bar underneath. You can get that bottom bolt without taking out the motor. Or install it after you put the motor in. Fyi
The wheels always have some axial play. You need to loosen track and spin them to check. I know this is old but people with current problems will watch this
Thought I was watching the red green show their for awhile. Ooo and those red rags suck and that one roller arm is sticky did I mention that it is really smooth and none of those move properly and he's going to have to clean those up. And did i mention that I keep repeating myself? 😆 LOL to funny. By the way you need a whole clutch kit. Just get the kit for your model and be done with then (it won't be a pain in the ass as you said) and clutch kits are around 300 bucks. You get rollers roller cams new roller pins primary spring and if your smart you will buy a new secondary spring cause they do sag over time and lose spring tension casing lazy shift back and fast shift out that causes engine bogging. Also buy roller pins that you can adjust the weights then you won't be so pissed off and aggravated or you could just stop working on snowmobiles. .
Today you can buy a screen for $20.00 and do it yourself. I guess people are tired of paying such high prices for repairs. If I lose my screen I’ll do it myself unless I’m in warranty. I know this was posted years ago, but what did you end up doing? For the price we pay QC should be better!
You were getting a signal at ten with the Garrett while saying that you were hearing nothing. I suggest you learn your settings better. Ground balance DOES help! Also you had your sens set too high while you were running around your yard. Lower sens on the Garrett when swinging it around your yard.
Doesn’t seem to be an Apples to Apples comparison. Two entirely different technologies for two entirely different purposes. ATX is a gold prospecting platform and flat out depth. A trade off for that flat out depth is you have no idea what you’re digging. CTX is marketed as a do it all machine, but is primarily a silver magnet and beach detector with world class discrimination matrix. CTX is not sensitive to small gold and micro jewelry like the ATX. Both worth owning in their own right.
it's amazing of how these machines came from a cowling lifting up and showing everything there, to testing your patience and memory.. good show my dood! I myself am learning these things for a few friends. challenges accepted 😎 the recent machines are a tad tighter spaces 😑
Jeez christ ! Have you not studied any kind of instructional lessons ? As a long time tutor, I can only say .....You Are a long winded boring kind of guy ! You would not last 5 mins, in any military educational programme ! Normal attention span for youngsters today, is around 9 seconds ! You need to cut the crap and wade straight in !
