I attended one of the famous kBOO Balls! fun stuff. KBOO played a lot of music that you wouldn't hear on other stations, alt/indie rock, great jazz, Ken Nordine, Country swing, local music, some spacey out of this world music and others.
I produced live music for Upsala College that broadcasts from East Orange NJ into NY state. Bailey & the Boys, Barry Mitterhoff of Bottle Hill Boys amoung other recording artists of grass & country idioms performed, everyone who played clearly stated their names. I love this music & I want to help this great group to be recognized & played everywhere. Talent & names are key in recognition.

I saw robbie at the University of Montana back in 97 I think it was , he did a show at the Copper commons and there was only ten people there . Still one of the best shows I've ever seen

Without Theresa Mitchell and Joe Uris KBOO has definitely lost its edge. There is still a lot of good stuff on KBOO. The woke vaccine zealot hosts on "Too Much Information" are, at times, irritating.
Trump himself was not fascism. He was a con man. But he wasn’t the second coming of Hitler and it was misleading for the Democrats and Chomsky to portray him as a second Hitler although he did certainly appeal to racists. And the “Christian” fascists certainly played a large part in his administration. Hedges is courtesy - he’s not the disease, he’s the symptom.

It's pretty powerful speech. I hope people realize the implications of all this. The fascists are working very hard to simulate what's going on in the US to countries here in Europe. The model is the same. Corporations are buying off current members of parlament and the government in an attempt to influence and dominate the legislative process.
