really appreciated this because the track is way lower than your drum track a lot of this videos are just disingenuous by having the track drown out the drumming
Travis was such a thoughtful drummer. He was sloppy live in the later years, but he had great ideas behind the kit. I loved his double bass and snare work. Nothing special, but very memorable
I don’t think there’s a problem with cymbals my man, overhead is probably just not mixed well enough. Only the outside china and crash on the left really sound good in the mix. To be fair the song is playing quiet with his drums, probably would be better cymbal wise if it was a full instrumental mix with the stems
