Join the Party! It's now playing! A calm feeling becomes a motion. And then it hits! Life at it's best. One transforms everyday sound into rhythm. A primal pattern emerges among Friends. People are hot with the BEAT! A beat that never sleeps. It's a contribution to the anti-static movement. Jumping, overflowing, playing away. From dusk 'til dawn. Playing for thousands, playing for one. An uncontrollable urge to be alive. To just Shake, Rattle, and Roll. There are No Limits when it comes to Toca Percussion!

Hi Crystal, In this video, it's a shame that you don't lift your Toca djembe to bring out the bass because you only hear the highs because the drum is stuck to the ground. The bass is a significant asset.
Whoa! You mean to tell me that this the first video they did since their last one on March 8, 2012?!? They just took an 8 month break? Must've needed it.
I love this guy. I was learning how to play doumbek some years ago, bought the resin one in Ubud-Bali. He is really good. Been trying to look for his name for years, and suddenly when I hear someone play doumbek on TV, my wife said Jamal used to play this on your yourtube. Bang..!! Suddenly I look for him. Thanks wife for reminding me of him. I wish him well. God bless from Bali- Indonesia
You're a legend sir, amazing little tidbits sprinkled over, have a gash on my new drum's skin was totally heartbroken looking at the repair costs. Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! 🩵
Timbales are variable in different rhythmic patterns as in any percussive instrument. Time has nothing to do with it as it compliments the music and dancers especially when the dancers and, or, melody, improvise.
I just found out that I had a small tear in my djembe head, and now it sounds way too low to make the proper sound. This is what I get for trying to work on the drum by myself.
As a percussionist I like the fact you can mount it and play with a foot. But it’s soft enough to play with hands too. It cuts through well giving you a nice accent tone
These don't feel or sound like an $80 product. They broke under normal usage in about a week. Just get an LP castanet machine for half the price of these.
