Detailing car & motorbike with hands on simple DIY. Professional detailers use and have access to professional equipment and workshop. Not all have these and I can share what I use to keep my motors fresh. I have also been hands on in doing DIY work on my bikes and cars. Hope to make things easier for us novices.
When removing the exhaust, you want to release the pipe clamp first, so when you remove bolts from the silencer, silencer wont hang on the pipe and put pressure on it together with the bolts that are holding the pipe to the cylinder, you dont want to bend or brake something :)
Are the Arrow slip-ons from AliExpress the genuine article. Honda refused to fit one on our brand new ADV 350, stating that the Arrows from AliExpress are poor quality. Would you agree? Thanks.
Thank you, yes but note they are different colours. Just go back on the video and take note on the lamp types. I would also advise the use of electrical tape if the connection is loose, it is very easy to loose the bulbs down the panel or in the lamp housing.
Hi. Are you still happy with the arrow? What can you report about performance, acceleration, top speed, volume, consumption? Was the purchase worth it and is it overall much better than the original? Best regards
Without the baffle its silly loud, with baffle, riding along on open roads is nice and not exhausting due to noise fatigue. in town and idle its not loud, on acceleration it sounds like an MX bike, sounds good. Plenty of pops from the can from deceleration. It's lighter and feels more responsive. Fuel consumption not changed. Performance is good, top speed 80mph, no change there.
@@TheF1mo In Germany it is required by law to build a catalytic converter between the manifold and the exhaust. Did you do this too and did you have to make any adjustments to the bike or did you just add the exhaust and ride?
You can remove that tack-weld with just your arm strength if you have a good quality hex tool - Also it's super easy to remove the baffle if you spray some WD40 in around there and leave it for 5 mins, then use that spring puller to latch on to the lip. Came out super easy for me!
Trust me it's not. I would not have gone through all that trouble if were as easy. Tried the hex wrench, I am not short on tools. it's risking completely damaging the head with a hex wrench or grind the weld. as the welding is not a machine process, some may be a simple tack, others such as this one had the weld over the baffle.
Hallo und guten Tag. Ich hätte auch gern so einen Kennzeichenhalter. kannst du mir sagen, wo man diesen bekommt und montiert wird? Vielen lieben dank aus Hannover. Nuran Hello and good day. I would also like to have a license plate holder like this. can you tell me where you can get this and install it? Many thanks from Hanover. Nuran
In my opinion, it doesn’t look great or sound great. I don’t get why people spend money on crap aftermarket bolt on’s that are much lower quality than the factory equipment. Still it’s your money 🤷♂️
too loud my friend - it needs something in between, with muffler not much better than stock. But I feel the power is with the muffler in and also can ride faster as its not noisy.
Hello l have also changed may exhaust maybe 1 year ago with the other model with the carbon top end it was a huge disappointment extremely loud from 155 top speed drop to 140 l make just 50 km end l remove it now am thinking bay the catalytic end give it 1 more chance maybe its working better
I have taken then baffle out, but will be putting back in. The loss in back pressure feels less power and also too loud. slow speeds its good because others can hear you, but no good on open roads. The Arrow is a good exhaust.
Hi, yes I have now removed the baffle. will load a video in the near future. Frankly a little too loud, in-town it's good as it helps peoples awareness. on the open road it can be a little too much.
Apart from the weight reduction, the bike feels a little more responsive at low RPM. Removing the baffle does loose back pressure and noticed a little less torque.
Great explanation of a streight forward job. The sound quality wasnt the best though, sounded like you were under water, lol. But great video, thanks for posting
Videoing is not my thing really, I do need to improve on this. I have bought a mic, so hopefully in the future this will address things. Thanks for the positive feedback.
@@mohammedislam8992 Polarity is correct, else it doesn't light up at all. I think I've torn stoplight cable when pulling out the socket. It was very too tight.
