My dear friend Sandy Blaylock (1953-2001) worked on this movie as a sci-fi model maker. We worked together in 1980-82 on my STAR FORCE book to film project.
I so wish they cast Danny DeVito as Mario instead of Bob Hoskins. Because Bob Hoskins originally has a British accent and Danny DeVito originally has a New York accent. So Danny DeVito would have been the perfect actor to play Mario.
I consumed horror movies at a prodigious rate back then, and I rented this after I had seen everything else. I thought it was going to be a variation on Maximum Overdrive, and I was pleasantly surprised at how original the premise was. And to find out that Mike Damone wound up being a tv repairman! Great stuff.
I remember watching when I was 5 or 6 maybe, I'm 31 now. Maybe a tad young my grandfather questioned me watching it. But he rolled with it. I was out after the shower scene cuz we had a shower with a door like that. I would only take showers at my grandp where they had a tub lol. Been looking for this movie for years, ALAS!
Stared or was at the same time started racing and stared Squirt of Dirt followed by King of Dirt, I now have one new knee, second partial knee, early on set dementia, await my neck to be fused, and 3 monthly injections in my spine and lower back, with a daily prescription that includes take three opioids, a the strongest fentanyl patch they do… wouldn’t change it for the world; but I am seriously jealous of foam pits, air bags and all the landing tech they have now; because completing every level of Gymnastics to learn how to our bodies and having to just go for it and take the beating of falling off to learn new tricks, that todays tricks make look like a wheelie and in comparison, to win a few quid was nuts. The list of injury’s and accidents I could tell you would blow your mind. However in every British Champ final, two World Champs and boat load of good times and stories was a great way to spend your begining off your life! Pain Heels, Chicks Dig Scares Glory Last Forever… well that didn’t turn out to be the greatest moto for a life😂😂🎉🎉😂😂
Best movie ever 😂stay hard harry!!! So be it!!! Don't conform Don't stay in line with everyone else blaze your own path let your voice be heard!!!! Let them think your crazy or dumb or stupid because the real reason they do what they do is because they conformed stayed in line and they are just like every one else hints the reason why they are depressed and confused.
Wow. I don’t remember this movie but after watching the trailer, I see why. I have no idea what this movie is about. Is it about: - a computer becomes his new best friend and they have a jolly old time playing pranks on a neighbor? - The computer turns on him and tries to kill him? - He meets an attractive neighbor, falls in love, the computer gets jealous and tries to kill the girlfriend? - He becomes a computer genius and the government recruits him to stop nuclear war?
