Absolutely wild sound design and weirdness all throughout? Sign me the fuck up! 🖤🤘 2:37 sounds bombastic! 💣💣💣 Edit: Also, the cover art is really interesting and fits the song perfectly! Was it designed by yourself?
Me siento perdida.
@@CreesNostalgiaHut Realistically, too many people crap on the US version. The JP version is more sonically diverse and uses way more samples while the US version stays consistent with what was then modern rock instrumentation. Certain arrangements of the US soundtrack, especially the bad futures, really sell the idea of a bleak wasteland and that stuck with me as a kid. Spiritually though, the JP version feels more inline with what Sonic as a character and as a series overall feels like.
One thing that's carrying Skrillex for me is his use of chopped vocals. They're my favorite element in any track and his recent LPs are full of them so I'm happy with them. But yeah, this era of Skrillex was filled with a special energy.
I have! Loved the concept. I hoped that more of the tracks would be regular remasters/VIPs, but making orchestral versions of the classics was still pretty cool
JP version: Rooting for Sonic at the finish line. US version: Plunged into a brighter side of Blade Runner but the devious Metal Sonic is hot on yer trail.
