@@ack495 yes I did both are different sizes one is 30-35 and the other 35-37 I believe I had to adjust the other if not the Expending would be too large
I am just looking into reloading 375 raptor. So in this video I assume you are using a expander dies of some sort and you set up three to carefully conduct the expansion? Would you mind giving me more details.
I have my 375 raptor die set and two dies with different expanders in it that was setup for me from the die manufacturer ch tool and die all one word I can’t put links or ch4D greats dies all the info is at the raptor website lots of info there it’s not cheap or you can try contacting lee precision they was making them at one time I was told there dies are made a little different than mine I chose the brand I use because I’m using thicker brass
Do you have load data for semi-auto like AR10 use? I would like to use 275 grain speer bullets. I have an AR10 in 375 Raptor that someone assembled for me and I bought some loaded ammo. My original contact is no longer around, I think Covid got him. I waa able to get a set of reloading dies when they were available. I have not reloaded myself.
No the load data I have it was tested for my bolt action if you go to the raptor website they have AR10 load data there if you use that data start low it’s on the warm side mine was no were near there’s. every brass thickness is different and every powder lot is different
Thank you for sharing this, Julio👍 May God continue to guide and bless you 🙏 Have you joined the Ministry? My Wife and I are getting into ministerial work with our Church.
Jesus is our path to Eternal Life! Our Church has online services, and I was attending before I got to the Philippines, and again when I went back to Utah to liquidate. But nothing is as fulfilling as fellowship with Church members! ❤️ Greenhills Christian Fellowship is our Church (GCF), in case you want to see?
Very happy to see you. Glad you are doing better. You have been in my prayers for a very long time. Now - keep active (busy) will help you clear your mind.
Hiya Ocean!! Man..its good to see you back at it. The whole process of casting and loading those slugs is really involved. It’s got to require attention and focus. Very cool video! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
I never knew you were sick. I thought you were just posting videos somewhere else I really hope that it all works out for you. I have the second one you showed the zero boy they shoot pretty good even though I never really got the right base wad. I sincerely hope you’re back to your old self soon.
I use the same dies for loose small primer pockets. I put the large pocket swage on them slightly press and then use the small swage to open the pockets back up. Works great!
Hello Julio, I just bought me a classic cast turret press with one extra head and a auto drum. I may get the APP down the road. I have went Lee crazy. Good stuff.
No because the Sierra Bullet has a bow tail if that’s happening give it a little mouth flair so it starts a little easier so it won’t crush the shoulder
I saw a guy who used a 4x4 piece of wood and routed a groove in the wood the size of a bullet and lined up say 30 bullets in the groove and then took the plastic tube and laid it down and pushed all the bullets into it. Hope you can follow my description.
Nice video showing the ease of forming the 375 Raptor. Was my whole point when i designed the round. Some suggestions, you can use a 7mm bore mop to lube the inside of the case mouth and liquid lanolin works great.. it’s what I use to make over 500 pieces per hour on a motorized Dillion 1050. Been off the grid for a couple of years after fighting the big C, but have beaten it so far. Arne - 375 Raptor, 45 Raptor, 7 Raptor and a few others
Dang I wish I had seen this a week ago. My first printed one broke. Then I got another style that didn't work for me. So I just ordered another printed one like my first one just this week. I know what I will be buying when any of my printed ones breaks again.
