My favorite trains are the N and W and basically just the broadway/astoria lines because of me growing up in Astoria New York which is the best place i lived in

(Currently as of September 2022) Currently i have school so i really wont upload as much but i do have a lot of old videos that i recorded the past year so imma upload those and imma try and take a break this winter again…
Dude why aren't you getting on the bus are you waiting for a different bus or something people who record buses are just wasting bus drivers times honestly
How exactly are we wasting drivers times? People like me like doing this for fun as a hobby so if you don't like that then don't complain about it here or anywhere for that matter people like seeing this type of content which is entertaining but don't just take it out like that
Because most RU-vidrs don't even get on and the bus drivers leaves their door open confused if there getting on and people got places to be I'm not saying I hate you all I'm saying is next time don't stand next to the bus stop because then the bus drivers will open their doors and wait until you get on
@@DisneyFan2008 for me they usually just skip the bus stop if theres no one there except me but i usually go to the stops where there are passengers waiting but some bus drivers usually get this and skip the stop since theres nobody actually getting on
@@thepelhamexpress yeah i know it was within laguardia depot but i didnt know what to call it in the title but they usually use the shorter buses for pm rush hours
Along with the fact that some NGs that Laguardia didn't send to Eastchester ended up in JFK. I caught 4484 (original Laguardia's) on the Q60 just last month.
Right now there are at least 262 Next Gens running on MTA Bus Company in at least 4 different bus depots but in College point around at 1-3 because they keep coming and leaving that depot for LGA
Back in September I got confronted by a NICE Bus driver on the n22 in Jamaica and he said that “taking pictures of buses is illegal”, I explained to him that I am a transit fan and this is what I do, I even told him what I’m doing is not even illegal but he didn’t seem to care, I ended up recording him leave and flipping him off.
This happened when 6 trains ran in 2 sections between: 1.Brooklyn bridge and 125 street and via the 4 to 149 st 2. Between 125 st and Pelham Bay Park This made R142s and R142as unable to access westchester yard, and some r142s and r142as were loaned from the jerome yard and from the 4 to the 6 line.
I hate to break it to you, but these R211Ts are prototypes. They’re not going to the N, Q, and W. The Broadway line is not ready for CBTC operations yet. The R211s as a whole are for the IND 8th Ave CBTC.
As of 9/28/23, BP Depot is officially done with the Old Gen fleet. The last unit to run was 3761, on 9/28/23 on the Q64. The last 11 units were replaced or displaced by 15 brand new 2023 Novabus LFS Diesel “Conehead” units in the 8964-9009 range, as well as Next Gens 3976 and 3992. It’s a shame that the Baisley OGs are now a mere memory, just like the NYCT OGs, only to be seen at ECH scrap or at JFK. The MTA BC Old Gens at JFK and LGA remain active for now.
Due to a 6 trains being spilt 6 need tralns so they borrowed from the 4 and the sections were 149st and 125th Brooklyn bridge and 125th and 4 R62 train borrowed from the 2 1 or 3 line was in the line for today same as R142/A and also some days it can be rare to find it but also tracks so thats why is was spilt into 2 sections 149th Pelham bay park Brooklyn bridge and 125th so thats all also some 4 5 and 6 trsins may get delays thats all for today bye Edit:3 likes i do more so basically the (6) even <6> goes to 149 because it didn't have access to its yard same with R142/A so the R62 <4> is from (1) (2) (3) or (6) lines and used of express between new lots and Woodlawn R142/A trains was borrowed from the (4) for service (6) runs to 149th and 125th Pelham bay park other times take the (4) (5) (6) <6> for all times
Gotchu so when you see the bus itself on whatever line there's a sticker next to the front door where it tells you what depot its in or you can also see or check this website called New York City Bus Roster and it tells you which bus lines are a part of what depots
