Just your average Motorsports gear head who has a build and sim races! Check us out if you love everything from Lemans Prototypes to big turbo supras and everything in between!
WiFi for Telemetry is easy to Setup, i see your WiFi is Off First you have to update Firmware for the Wheel and the Base On the Wheel turn on Wifi On a Phone, go to WiFi and Scan, find Thrustmaster-xxxxx Hit Connect, Password 12345678 Then a Thrustmaster Portal will Appear on the Phone, Choose your Wifi, put in Password Done Any Game that has Telemetry Data in the Settings, turn it On and add the wheels ip address
The cheaper Flowmaster header isn’t on the website but I imagine it would be legal. Most of the websites have online if it’s legal there. The magnaflow has cats as well
@@apexvisiontv Oh that was what was said, didn't catch it. And here is me just spent £1000 on the V2 Grid MPX. It makes this wheel very, very affordable and an easy buy. I may well pick one up. I do have a few but one more surly wont hurt would it?
Simucube is the best out there but price and ecosystem matter. FFB isn’t at the same level but it’s plenty communicative and I would have no problem beating people using that gear!
@@apexvisiontv thank you for that. Hmm, given what you've said and considering that I keep hearing that the Asetek wheelbases also give same level of granular detail of road texture in the FFB as the Simucubes, I'm starting to think it might be worth going the Asetek route with a La Prima wheelbase and pairing it with the GT Neo then. Price wise will be same as going with Simagic Alpha. It does have 3Nm less but I also keep hearing that 12Nm is pretty much the max anyone would want if racing.
If you tilt back the seat, then now you'll have the problem of pushing on the brake pedal, lifts you up the seat. Which is then sort of just like trading one flex for another flex.
@@apexvisiontv the simlab P1X Pro is the one I want. Been comparing across NLR, TR and Simlab for the last few weeks and it just seems like the absolute no brainer choice. It's not just competitive on price for what you get but literally the best performing rig and best looking too imo.
Elastomers (rubber) have hysteresis, springs do not. Elastomers are a non-Newtonian material and therefore behave as a spring + damper system (like a suspension) and so there is a time lag in the final steady-state position being reached after a change in force compressing them. Springs being just a spring has no time lag in the final steady-state being reached when a change in force of compression occurs. The time lag is the hysteresis.
@@apexvisiontv ive ordered the white elastomers which are soft, i just dont like too stiff, i dont think irl its that stiff when you have gforces pushing you forward
@@ali09gaming58 yeah for sure. Mines came with white and black elastomers in the box so that was a cool surprise for me. Run whichever set suits you best!
@@skyjunior233 if I had a FPE V1 fall in front of my lap even with a strong enough wheel to justify it actually really love the GT style look a little better for my GT cars. So like fanatec 911 gt3-r style. The V2 blends that multi role perfectly in my opinion! Thanks for the comment!
Thanks I appreciate that comment! I am actually working on dialing in my audio mix so I can start racing and talking at the same time. Not sure which platform quite yet!
Yeah the leoxz is in first place for me right now. The question is with the more expensive one having full Simhub customization vs just some select screens pre built. Which do you go with if you want a bigger better wheel some day? The higher end model is on sale right now so it’s not a question really. But full price which do you go with?
Im sure its a good wheel but god i hate mozas design language and dang why they gotts put there nsme on the front of the panel? Like do the top, side or something lol.
Yeah I’ll be buying a new chassis soon. I know it’s the biggest factor. I couldn’t resist swapping my CSL Elite V2 out for these considering how little out of pocket difference it came out to
It’s an older Trak Racer RS6 that has the two bolting points really close together. Compared to the newer versions that share the same pedal plate as the TR8 Pro. I tried to cut into the flex by laying them flat but it really really threw off my driving. I won’t do a full review until I get a chassis that can handle it
Accidentally faced with your channel watching sim-racing content. It's all very nice guys but the only wish for you is do something with the background noises. At least don't make it louder. 🤣
100% agree that you don't even consider a Gomez wheel until you have all the right equipment* 20+NM drive, profile chassis, and years of Sim racing experience). I just got my first GSI and am planning for the next.
What would you recommend as a beginner sim setup? I currently play Gran Turismo 7 but I have interest with PC titles such as Automobilista 2 and Rennsport? My PC has a 5800X and a 6900XT.
I say leave the console life behind but I understand with GT7! It really just depends on the flexibility you have. If I had the money I would buy the best console compatible wheel and play both whenever. But pc life is the best move for sure. So I would recommend a second hand g29 or g923 to keep that PlayStation compatibility going. If you want more torque and direct drive then I give the DD1 PlayStation the edge over the Logitech one because the ecosystem is pretty much non existent for the G Pro
@@apexvisiontv Yes I am debating between Simagic Mini, Alpha or the Logitech G Pro. I read that Simagic has a converter that lets you use the ecosystem on PS5.
@@DjJm09 I haven’t looked into the PS5 conversion for simagic. But those are all great wheels. The g pro came out of nowhere! But it’s ecosystem is non existent right now
I have Simsonn Pedals and a GSI FPE... What's wrong with Simsonn pedals? What are they missing that VNM, some sprints, or Simagic P1000s have? You pay a few hundred dollars less for some pretty beefy pedals, and you have money left over to invest in something else for your rig.
@@nativerezmedia yeah that’s why my buddy was laughing I was more so convincing myself to not buy the Gomez right now 😂. But yeah mines came with the LCM modded springs. It helped a lot. Which elastomers would you recommend?
@@apexvisiontv I guess it's more of a personal preference, I run the yellow spring, with red and black elastomers (more of a side grade than an upgrade). I like my pedal to have middle of the road stiffness with a progressive feel. It feels more like a road sports car brake (I've never driven a proper race car so I can't truly compare it to one).
@@nativerezmedia I am running the black elastomer stack with the red spring. My buddy had a sprint pedal mod. I want to try them out and see what I think. The modded spring makes a nice difference!
Cool vid man. Just a tip for the pedal flex. It seems to be a more forward/backward flex. Why don't you cut a custom block of wood to fit the underside gap of the pedal plate to where it meets the ground. You can then bolt that from top, through the pedal plate holes, and into the wood. That way when you push you'll have the block of wood preventing the flex towards the ground. Just a thought figured I'd share. Enjoy!
I got a fanatec csl 8nm kit but i didnt get the load cell kit, think these would be a good upgrade? i notice some sites have afterpay so.. trying to keep it around the 500$ mark as i need to still get a chassis etc..was gunna home make for now till i can upgrade gear but good pedals are a must i think
They have some pretty bad elastomers to start with but if you are willing to spend some time and effort modding the pedals and getting it dialed in these definitely have higher potential. I have improved with the short time I have spent with them. Stay tuned for the full review later!
Finally got me a simagic ultimate! Super happy with it. Also the neo of course 😉. The grip designs are perfection the way they come out of the back ive never felt more connected to a wheel. They need to stick with that design. Of course with further better rubber in there higher end range. I did not expect the wheel to fele as dense as it did. The composite is amazing they used. Def has some serious cf in the mix with the plastic. Plastic on its own cannot feel that dense.
Tbh i wont want to buy anything new. The feel ive searched for ive finally found. I hope my ultimate never breaks and if it does I hope they will be available to buy years from now. Its absolutely perfect for me. I dont use it to high. It's around 10nm to 12nm but I love hpw it feels there. I got the ultimate because I got a killer deal paid the same as someone does for the alpha. Also simagic is smart they have been updating the motors these new v3s are very nice. I didn't expect the details to pop so much. Love it and that's coming from someone who owns the dd+ the new base reviewers are saying are so good. I much prefer the simagic. I like how everything feels in motion like it's one smooth motion no spacing don't feel separation between the ffb. It's snappy af snappiest base ive used but in the perfect way it's instantaneous when you lose the back end and it snaps right back just beautiful. The most important part is feeling the edge of grip and these is so good with that with the feeling of laoding and unloading also. Its like you can push past the limit and other bases you can't. They get tight and just break through and you go into a wall. This base you can ride that fine line letting it rock back and forth and then once you go through boom snaps right back into place. Love it @apexvisiontv
Yeah it’s a pretty legit wheel for sure. It doesn’t feel like CFRP at all! I am considering the alpha u for my last base. They have a nice Ecosystem for sure!
