Good teaching! About calvinism and being predisposed: In the end it is also true that faith is a gift from God, Eph.2:8. So, don't boast. The Counsel of God cannot be understood fully.

According to the documentary, Lonnie discovered Christ on a naked drug trip in the canyon. He had no solid profession of salvation by the Spirit. Another Jesus, another gospel and another spirit run many of these people who get people to run after them because of their powers rather than the power of God.

Guy at 29:00, Catholics gave us the Bible. The orthodox reject the valid seat of Peter and are in schism. Please come home to the one holy Catholic and apostolic Church. Catholic don't just say they know what books belong. It's that the Catholic Church has the literal authority given by Christ to declare what is scripture, and have the responsibility to preserve and pass them down. You only have these texts because of the Catholic Church. If you don't have a true authority, then it's literally everyone putting whatever books they deem worthy, and reduces it to individual relativism. Also, the true Church before the Canon of scripture was the Catholic Church. All Church fathers spoke of one Church under bishops, and literally called it Catholic. And this tears apart the idea of Sola scripture. The Church literly operated on oral and written tradition from the apostles and their successors for those 400 years until the Canon. You cannot say Sola scripture is the intended way of Church and the Chriatianife it it wasn't even an available thing for 400 years

2nd Peter 3:13 says, " Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells." This world is NOT that promised New Earth. This world is filled with false religions, murder, rape, child molestation, human trafficking, alcohol, drugs, LGBTQ, and atheistic colleges that teach Godless Big Bang theology, along with Darwinian evolution that mocks the God of the Bible. The mess this world is in PROVES beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are NOT in a New Earth in which righteousness dwells. Revelation 20:7 says, "Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER AND EVER." Preterism says the New Heavens and the New Earth started right AFTER the Millennial Reign which happened from 30AD to 70 AD. During the New Heavens and New Earth, Satan has been cast into the Lake of Fire to be TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER AND EVER." Surely you don't think Jesus is ruling and Satan has been completely rendered harmless in the Lake of Fire? IF this happened in the first century, as per preterism, 1st Thessalonians 4:16, " 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words." Then ONLY that first generation of Christians was involved, but what about the other FORTY-NINE GENERATIONS since then? Are you saying we (the vast majority of the church) have NO PART in this? Titus 2:11-15 says, "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you." So this is yet another Bible section that has ZERO meaning for us today and for the church for the last two THOUSAND years, because we are admonished to live Godly lives, denying worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works." It calls us to live these Godly lives as we look for the blessed hope and GLORIOUS APPPEARING OF OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. But alas, we are two thousand years too late: it all happened before 70AD. Here is yet another MAJOR problem for Full preteism: Revelation 20:11 says, "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. This happens at the end of the Millennial reign. According to the Preterist timeline, that happened in the first century. So, all the wicked dead who failed to come to Christ and have their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life where cast into the Lake of Fire. BUT what about the TWO THOUSAND years of wicked who lived AFTER the preterist Great White Throne Judgment? Is there going to be a SECOND Great White Throne Judgment for them? And as I have stated before, when did this happen? Revelation 21:2, "Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be NO MORE DEATH, nor SORROW, nor CRYING. There shall be no more PAIN, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are "METAPHORICAL" and Hebraic Apocalyptic language.” NO, NO, NO, He said, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” If ALL prophecy has happened, when do we here on earth right now, you and me and the rest of the Church, when do we get to this perfect age where in righteousness dwells, with NO more crying, NO more sorrow, No more pain, and NO more DEATH?

Acts 13:42-14:28 New King James Version Blessing and Conflict at Antioch 42 [a]So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. 43 Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. 44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ” 48 Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. 49 And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region. 51 But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium. 52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. At Iconium 14 Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed. 2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and [b]poisoned their [c]minds against the brethren. 3 Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. 4 But the multitude of the city was divided: part sided with the Jews, and part with the apostles. 5 And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them, 6 they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region. 7 And they were preaching the gospel there. Idolatry at Lystra 8 And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. 9 This man heard Paul speaking. [d]Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, 10 said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked. 11 Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” 12 And Barnabas they called [e]Zeus, and Paul, [f]Hermes, because he was the chief speaker. 13 Then the priest of Zeus, whose temple was in front of their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, intending to sacrifice with the multitudes. 14 But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard this, they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude, crying out 15 and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them, 16 who in bygone generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. 17 Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” 18 And with these sayings they could scarcely restrain the multitudes from sacrificing to them. Stoning, Escape to Derbe 19 Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. 20 However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. Strengthening the Converts 21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” 23 So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed. 24 And after they had passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. 25 Now when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26 From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work which they had completed. 27 Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. 28 So they stayed there a long time with the disciples. It’s amazing though reading through the comments on the videos in the series… looking at comments from calvinists it seems cliché but in almost every case they just have to KEEP READING and they’ll get the full context of a verse, but they choose (no pun intended) to stop short to make the scripture fit their view.

Steve. If a 'beast' is not a literal beast; a 'woman' is not a literal woman; a 'mountain' is not a literal mountain, then how can a 'city' be a literal city? How can it be either? Since Jerusalem and Rome are literal cities. If we want to know the figurative meaning of a city, we only have to look in the scriptures. Just as, if we wanted to know what the meaning of a harlot is, we go back to the OT scriptures for the type and shadow. So, if we want to know the spiritual meaning of a figurative 'city', we need only to look at the city of Babel, Gen 11, for the type and shadow of what it reveals. Jesus wasn't crucified in the city of Jerusalem. He was crucified 'outside the gate'. The symbolism of Sodom and Egypt is, surely the world, where both Israel and believers were delivered from bondage.

Pontius pilote was in charge of Judea in the time of Jesus death. Could he have listened to his wife and didn't crucify the innocent Jesus? What happens then? Does God get upset and have to come back to earth to try again? Does he come back the following year for passover and try again? Calvinism is the only way to make sense of the Bible. This was my default thoughts before I ever heard of anything like Calvinism

I listen to a lot of debates because I like to be open minded and I like to hear two guys that know what they are talking about debate to settle my questions. Cross exam is the most important part of debate and while I don't like when you get the extreme filibuster type of answer, I certainly don't like when the people asking expect the question to be answered a certain way. Whether it's short or yes or no answer. To me, because you think it's a yes or no question but the person has the right to answer the way they want.

I remember when I first read the Bible about 10 years ago. I remember feeling bad for pharoe because God hardend his heart. It wasn't his fault. I remember feeling bad for the Canaanites because it wasn't their fault they weren't born in the right area. I was extremely confused about how inconsistent the Bible seemed to be. My preacher was telling me that God loves everyone and yet, he clearly doesn't. Non Calvinism is not the default. I personally never heard of Calvinism and I had about 3 or maybe 4 of the 5 points of Calvinism figured without ever hearing about Calvinism. Since I heard about it, the whole Bible makes sense now. Now it's consistent

If Calvinism is true, then God forced Pharaoh to make all the wrong choices and rebel against what God told him. If Calvinism is true, he forced the Canaanites to have orgies and sacrifice their babies to false gods, then punished them for it. That is unfair. That is unjust. It makes God the author of ALL evil. How does that possibly jive with all of scripture and it's claims about God's character?

Hilisterion in Greek means 'Mercy Seat's not propitiation. Propitiation or any doctrine describing propitiation is not found in scripture referring to the atonement. I believe the massoretic text adopted by Jerome Latin Vulgate and Augustine capitulated to Nautic and Judeaizer influence the early church was dealing with until the Roman church and Constantine. The pagan concept of the appeasing angry God is a pagan construct. Ireneus and other fathers were very aware of attacks on Christ by discrediting there own Septuagint from 3rd century BC

I wondered for over twenty years how Judas Iscariot, whom, apparently, was endued with the same power as the other original apostles, could betray Christ. Some years ago I read some novels by Frank Slaughter, great books. In one of them, he related that Judas, as was James, John and a couple other apostles, were members of the Zealots, which was what we would call militia or patriot groups. Judas, having his mind upon an earthly king, intended to cause Christ to play His hand upon arrest, overthrow the Roman government, and establish an earthly kingdom, never intending harm to Jesus. That would be why it never dawned on Judas, or anyone else, that he was whom Jesus was referring to as the betrayor, even though Jesus strongly implied who it was, at the Last Supper. All the apostles originally envisioned an earthly kingdom, and we're rather militant, displayed when James and John, in the book of Mark, asked Jesus if they should call fire down upon disciples who didn't specifically follow them. I believe that Slaughter is correct in his synopsis. If Judas had meant harm to Jesus, he certainly would not have had remorse once Jesus was arrested. His remorse was at realizing he had the kingdom concept all wrong, and likely figured what he had done was unforgivable. Many in these times have the exact same mindset, such as those who think that some president is a messiah, or politicians who think that the political world, or America, is some kind of savior to mankind. Or a denomination, or anything.
