We’re Feros Care. And what we care most about is helping people live bolder lives. Healthier. Better connected. More active. More fulfilling.
We don’t just want you to live. We want you to dream. To get your feet wet and your hands dirty. To laugh, have friends, be happy. To have ambitions, passions, plans.
We call it growing bold and for over 30 years, we’ve been making it real, both for older Australians and those living with disability. As a registered NDIS registered aged care and disability support services provider delivering flexible home and community care to Australians, we can support you in many ways and with many services. We can help with residential aged care, home care, home maintenance, veteran’s services, community care, or getting you back on your feet after a hospital stay.
And because we’re a not-for-profit organisation, owned by the community, you can rest assured that we’re there for only you.

My daughter has been a domiciliary carer for many years & loves her job For the responsibilities she has the pay is dreadful. She is paid a small smount of petrol money & isnt salaried .If she needs time off occasionally as she or my g/son is ill she isnt paid .The clients are elderly so inevitably ,they pass .She is never given the hours she needs ,eg next Sunday they've given her an early morning call then a 4 hour gap until the next , no le5trol money & only paid for the people seen .Its disgusting, the way she' s treated when they are aooare y short of carers
I also want ❤️to work in this type of retirement home but everyone asks me PSW certificate😔 even though I am a registered nurse from back home. Is there anyone who help me get a job like this 🙏
A great acknowledgement of the true spirit of Feros Village life as it was. My Aunt loved her life there. Shame forever on all involved with this heartless closure.
Yes! This woman gets it! I feel the same. Changed from office work to care work aged 46. Wish I'd done it sooner! Such lovely people. Even when they have their moments. It doesn't last long and when it's over they're lovely again. The aspect of personal care probably scares off so many people from this work but honestly you get used to after after a few days. It's surprising how quickly you just adapt and get on with it. It is so much more rewarding than it is demanding. All the thankyou's and brightening someone's day just keeps you going. 💛
Hi, Love your comment -- It's inspiring. Can I ask how much you get paid, what training you did and also if you go through an agency? Thanks! ; ) ~ Sarah
Well said Hannah, as someone who has found great healing and clarity in writing songs about my trauma, this was absolutely beautiful. You are so wise and an inspiration
