I Have been making Vintage Style Journals since 10/2019. My RU-vid channel was also created at this time. My CraftRoom has turned out various crafts along the way such as sewing, appliqué, macrame, mixed media art and jewellery making to name a few. Most of which can be applied when creating the journals. I Just love to pass the hours creating! I Hope you enjoy coming along with me on my creative journey! Jo x
What a lovely, bright craft room! Thank you for welcoming us in to see your special room. I'm in Michigan, USA. You have a lovely, restful room to work in. I'm in the process of arranging and organizing my craft room, which is our smallest bedroom. My husband keeps warning me that only so much will go into that room 😅, but I'm determined to get it organized before working in it. I appreciate any advice anyone may have!😊
Thank you for your kind words and for watching! My advice is to use every inch of wall space and leave as much space in the middle of your room as possible so you can get to everything and see everything… also makes it easier to clean/vacuum etc.. good luck! 💕
I'm in USA, Ohio. I love your vintage telephone collection box with Queen Elizabeth's initials. How lucky you are! I just adored the Queen, and would have loved to meet her. Matter of fact, I love all things royal, should have been born in UK I guess lol. your craft room is very comforting looking, and your accent is so great! I just subscribed to your channel, so I'll have to go back through all your older videos and catch up. Good luck to you in health and life.
I love Xmas Jo. But I don’t make holiday journals. The is very festive and I love it. Side note… your sewing is impeccable. I’m soooo jealous. I have to go to a class or something. I have such a time with the tension and changing the bobbin. Do they make self changing bobbin machines. Hahaha 😝 🌼🌼🌼
Your room is lovely and organized. Not like mine lol 😮. The constant in every room tour I see is we all have a rolly cart. Hahaha 😝. It makes me feel better that I’m not the only one who has a lot of supplies. We all have similar items too. 🌼🌼🌼
Josephine congratulations on reaching 500+. Your journal is quite lovely and thank you for the opportunity to win it. I wish you continued success. Can you tell me how do you get your seams so straight? Hugs and stay well.
Thank you so much! Seams… well I think it’s probably plenty of practice and a steady hand. I’ve owned a sewing machine for many years and have created covers for cushions or curtains. To help you get straight seams you could put a piece of tape by your sewing machine foot and guide your project along the tape. After a while you become more confident though. Good luck! 💕
I can relate to this festive journal! I was a teenager in the 60’s and 70’s! We loved all things “British “, especially the boys from Liverpool!! Life was fun then! Your journal brought back a lot of fond memories! I love the “groovy “ prints in this kit, and you did an amazing job of creating this journal! Thank you so much for sharing this with me!❤
Oh Jo, thank you so much for doing this. It all looks amazing, I can't believe how organised it all is. You've done a brilliant job. You've got plenty of space and I can see everything you have is needed, no waste of space. I was particularly interested in the light you have above your desk. I need to get some good lighting but just don't know what to get. It was lovely seeing your projects too. I remember the rolodex alphabet project, that was so awesome. Thank you again for sharing your space, it's so nice to get an insight to where people work. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Take care, speak soon .. ❤❤
Oh Joey…thanks so much for your kind comment. 🥰 ….and yes I’ve finally filmed the tour and can get stuck in again!!! It’s definitely been a work in progress and has evolved over time but think I have everything where I need it now. I love the open space as I can see everything. I’m lucky to be able to be indulgent with my space and voila! 😃 Here is a link to the desk light I have… Deal: CHICLEW LED Desk Lamp for Home Office, 24W Swing Arm Double-Head Table Lamps, 3 Colors Lighting & Stepless Dimming Architect Reading Desk Light, Adjustable Eye-Caring Clamp Light for Study Work amzn.eu/d/cKyUm2y Amazon UK of course. It is fab! The arms swivel and has a choice of hues too depending on what you’re doing.. also dimmable and lights the whole desk without hurting your eyes. Very impressed with it. I’m sure you’ll be able to get something similar over there. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend too! Thanks again my friend 💕😘
@JosephinesCraftRoom Thanks so much for link Jo, I really appreciate that, I'm going to investigate today. Enjoy your "new" creative space, and I'll look forward to your new creations. I'll let you know how I get on with the light ❤️❤️

This is absolutely gorgeous Jo, what an amazing job you have done. I’m so happy you like the kit, it’s a really me type of kit.
