All hunting dogs doesn’t like when strangers trying to pet them , they usually biting strangers. Usually terriers and German pointers and German terrier will bite stranger if he will try to pet those species .
If you’re not familiar with the dog like Barney, it’s a bad idea to put your hand over his head while you’re standing in front of it. Barney felt threatened.
This is my favorite White House dog story. This dude just shoved his hand in Barney's face attempting to pet his head. Stupid!! First you've got to extend your hand for the dog to sniff. If the dog is interested, you can pet him. If he's not interested, he'll let you know. This made me love Barney. He chomped down for all dogs in America.
coldmike 000 Yes, Sally Corp (the company who manufactured this show) is like the General Motors of the animatronic world. They were always reusing shows, animatronic components, and what not. There’s a handful of known variations of this show, here’s a few of them: a 4 character version with Jethro P. Hogg, Beauregard, Scratchmo, and Daniel seen at celebration station and FECs across America. A 3 character version, same as the last with out Jethro, seen at Family Kingdom in Myrtle Beach (this show is currently being repaired). a 5 character version, as seen here, and a 8 character version, same as the five, but with Betty Birthday and Mark Twain (Yes, that Mark Twain) that was seen at the riverboat playhouse. The 5 and potentially 8 character version of this show were very popular throughout the 80s and into the 90s the 3/4 chapter versions of this show took over. To this day you can still have Sally make a brand new Daniel And The Dixie Diggers to your liking, as long as you have the funds.
