I was excited to try wordly wise and got the 8th level and flipped through it. They do the reading passages and I didn't love all the choices for those BUT we will just skip the ones I don't prefer. I bought used and it was very affordable. So i'd just pre read some of the passages and make sure they'd be something okay for your family. Great video!
It's my first time seeing this video and I've got to say it has been the most organized and the most helpful to starting my kids on homeschool this year. Thank you so much for sharing your hard work! What a great video! Thank you for sharing what worked in your homeschool. I’ve been curious about some of these, especially the science into studies. I also appreciate that you share resources that have worked for you as a homeschool mom who is working….My husband and I have a family business that goes through busy seasons and less busy seasons, but it is very unpredictable in terms of when it gets busy, so I definitely need open and go curriculums that don’t need a lot of prep work.

I would love to hear more specifics about how you manage homeschooling and being a practicing attorney. Something like a day in the life overview for a day you are also working would be valuable. I am a 3L and just had my baby in August. Managing school has not been easy, but it's been doable. I really hope to homeschool in the future and my current plan is that I will able to go solo by the time my son would start but I know that time management as a solo attorney can already be difficult. It would be immensely valuable for me to see an example of how another homeschool mom/attorney manages their daily commitments.

I can't really recommend it yet, but for art next year I'm looking into "Ever Ancient, Ever New: Art History, Appreciation, Theory, and Practice" by Catholic Heritage Curricula. It looks beautiful with some hands-on project ideas. There is a volume 2 as well.
