An old man took on those testosterone-soaked teenage boys in Part 1. The real life actor was only 51. In the movie, probably more like 62 due to his WW2 service and having a young wife. 62 isn’t that old today, but was back then. And he was almost effortless and did it with ease. Miyagi was boss! And he only did it to protect Daniel. But Daniel needed a lesson to quit being a little whiny-ass as well.
You can also manually retract the parking brake as well. Its 2 screws to remove the plastic eletric parking brake on the back of the caliper than when you have it off you can wind it out using a socket just so everyone knows.
@@tkizzle4129 I saw that in other videos. I appreciate the comment. But I would rather spend 160 on a scan tool that can do the same thing rather than new calipers. To me it’s cheaper. As cars get newer and more technology in them, don’t think it was a bad investment. Also, I’m on the rust belt where screws sometimes like where they are. Seriously thanks for comment.
@@Rickm2003absolutely! I get it im currently looking for a new scan tool myself that can do this as well would you recommend this one? Also you don’t need to buy new calipers its actually very simple to do i just did it on a 2019 equinox last weekend but i prefer to do it the easy way as well so Im going to buy a new scan tool that has the epb feature i just can’t decide which one to get
@tkizzle4129 I’ve used it a few time and let my buddy use it. He used the bleeding feature of the abs and worked great on a ford f150 I think. Yes. Either this or a launch. Launch for the face it’s wireless. Look on JBtools. Might get a good deal

appreciate the comment, I honestly think that could create more of a problem, due to the area you live in. for me, personally I would rather use a scan tool to perform the task. Screws, salt and corrosion don't all get along. Not all DIYers, have the tools to deal with stripped screws. also, as vehicles get more computerized it wouldn't be a bad idea for people to have access to a scan tool. not arguing, just giving my opinion. @HeyJerry55 easier and not a bad investment when technology isn’t going backwards. I was just going to rent the tool originally, but no one in my area rented a scan tool with the epb function. That’s what made me get the one I have.
It should. Worse case, order it, if it works good, if not send it back. But if you do a lot of diy, I would keep it because the specific tool has more features than just the parking break.
