I was obsessed with My So Called Life. I don't know why it seemed so cool and fresh at the time, then years later I tried to watch Homeland and at first her character drove me crazy, until I matured a little bit myself, and now I am so appreciative of this incredible woman and actor, embracing complex women characters, "ugly cry" and all.
Aw man, I can't find that legendary scene where Coop and Harry are on their first stakeout together outside the roadhouse, Coop is whittling, Harry has a thermos of coffee and at some point there is a "Women ☕" moment lol
2:00 the cat look like it just wanted to play didn’t even open its mouth like it was hissing or something. Not to mention the one after it is even funnier because the cat looks like I got stuck in there to get out and was just angry.
Finding-out about Arrested Development AFTER being a long-term Archer fan was such a cultural shock & pleasure at the same time! And it's not just Malory's real-live character, but also Cheryls , the Odin's head guys, a few other too, that are in this live-actin sitcom
Fun fact: originally Jeffrey Tambor was only supposed to appear in the pilot. But Mitchell Hurtwitz loved the George Sr. Character so much that he wrote him in for more episodes.
I only watched a minute of this, but the title brought me here, before I realized it meant that the video would be all the yelling... rather than some discourse about why the heck someone(s) thought yelling is good watching. I can see from the comments (I read a lot of them) that yelling is funny or meaningful to some folks... I don't get it. It seems to me it would be just as funny if you toned it down from "yell as loud as you can" about 85% (to 15% intensity) while pretending you've never yelled louder... or spend more time in other emotional states. Anyway, other than the yelling, and especially episodes where that was most of what you got, I loved this show. (I've been watching a lot of scenes from it lately.) I quit watching the series, ages ago, I think, when emotionally it was too burdensome to watch, and depressing, but of course I had to know how it all turned out so some time later I picked it up again. The fact is, people don't usually think clearly when they are yelling. I'd rather see portrayals of smart people being smart without yelling which really isn't characteristic of mature or smart behavior. Setting off fight/flight responses in people doesn't give the best outcomes, and a lot of other states are a lot healthier and more fun. IMO
