jack shaft should not be used in residential single door install. The cable runs the risk of unwinding. Too many times you have to unbalance the door so there is more weight for the first panel to come down and put some weight in the cable

The spring on my door broke last night. Called this morning and a technician (Parker) came out within a couple of hours. I had the spring replaced about 5 years ago, but the spring was the wrong strength. He did an in-depth diagnosis of my problem (there were more issues than just the spring; some caused by the wrong spring). He replaced the spring and some other worn parts, balanced and calibrated the whole system. It's great to have a company whose people know what they are doing.
