@@fcv1967 As far as I'm aware, running and gunning has more potential. I have not seen better XP gains with nuka nades, and people are more than free to disprove me on that In terms of general (perhaps biased) pros and cons: - Running and gunning has more potential as far as I'm aware, but it does have a higher barrier of entry compared to grenades. Pretty much anyone can use nuka grenades in comparison and might be better for a more casual audience - I find ammo easier to get in bulk than grenades. Getting 1000s of rounds of ammo is generally easier than 100s or 1000s of grenades. If you don't farm XP that much, you don't need that many grenades though - Nuka nades have a chance to kill the user, which means you have to re-obtain the Well Rested bonus, which is lost time, or you run without it for the rest of the hour, which is lost XP - A little more subjective, but I prefer the constant running and gunning over the run > throw > run > throw rhythm grenades have - There was a recent change to Grenadier which I believe has negatively affected grenades' performance as well. I never tested this in depth though, I'm not really interested in the nuka grenade side of things. Could be worth experimenting with and seeing what they do now - Nuka grenades seem fast on paper with ~1 minute runs, but they sometimes don't fully kill everything in the area, which is lost XP
random: Is that EPR hitting 800ish on a crit without buffs? I wanna drop a bloodied EPR for a friend but I run full health and thought blooded would be hitting 1200ish on a crit?
800 seems about right based on the floating damage numbers in my videos, although those floating numbers can be a bit off during high-paced gameplay. Damage doesn't really need to be much higher though. If you plan on using it in a similar manner, all you need is the ability to 2 shot super mutants. Any damage invested on top doesn't result in much change

Why are you in such a hurry to unlock the rewards? You can just play the game normally. All this jumping and one-shotting hack feels more like Call of Duty, than Fallout. 🙄
@@ronin7024 I'm afraid I don't have any guides handy and I don't have time to look any up but what I can note: - Magazines are primarily from player trading - Leader bobbleheads are also primarily from trading. The trading post in Skyline Valley has a specific leader bobble spawn as well - Cranberry relish largely boils down to walking alongside the river near Flatwoods for snaptail reeds for sugar, visiting one of the many spots with cranberries and using turbo fert on gourds in a CAMP or workshop - For brain bombs, I consistently check spawn points for irradiated sugar bombs to accumulate those over time. Then, it's mostly a matter of getting purified water, mothman eggs and brain fungus If you're unsure on how to farm specific components, I'm sure there's guides for that stuff out there if you look them up. I wish I could give a more thorough response, but I don't really have a lot of time at the moment.
@@mrs-blobby It's really rare some youtuber take some time to answer a question with so much details like this, thanks a lot i'm gonna try to find some articles about it, you're a legend mrs
@@testmail7916 I do all kinds of stuff. I differentiate between CAMP building, shelter building, dropping nukes, doing events for fun, expeditions, level my alt, farming for specific items (modules, mutated packs, scrip, repair kits, etc), making small visual mods here and there, and so on. I play another game every now and then as well, but 76 still takes up the majority of my time spent playing games.
@@mrs-blobby nice. I haven't played this game since they dropped expeditions. I kinda miss it but I just don't have much time to play these days. I get my fix from watching others play, so thanks.
Holy moly! that's about - 2500 xp per kill? I fear to ask what's your current INT XD Oh - I've just read the FAQ - no wonder you're level 32767 - that's almost 1 level per kill IIRC What I find most informative is - you don't have to completely clear westek - just pick the fastest/most profitable route, rinse and repeat! It's a bit sad the game doesn't scale at least a bit - lvl 100 enemies are simply insignificant. May I ask - do you still enjoy playing the game? What are the goals when you reach that peak?
I still enjoy the game, yeah. I do plenty of thing outside of West Tek too. I like to rotate the repeatable content I engage with, and that generally keeps things fresh enough for me. I kind of differentiate between CAMP building, setting some sort of level goal for myself, nuking, Encryptid farming, doing general events for fun, farming specific components (modules, treasury notes, repair kits, legendaries to scrip, etc), expeditions and so on. Most of those bits keep the game fresh / enjoyable enough for me. Worst case, I play a different game here and there as well. I like to play through the occasional singleplayer game or briefly mess around on another online game.
General reward-wise, I prefer the old scoreboards. Having to wait until 150 to truly have all the cosmetics and to be able to access the repeatable rewards isn't great, especially for more casual players. We also get less repeatable rewards per rank in general. In terms of navigation, I prefer the new season passes. I always found the board game layouts tedious to navigate with a controller. I prefer the newer system for those bits, but that's only quite a small positive in the grand scheme of things.
Damn, this is insane. Well played. I wish I could fly through the scoreboard and get loads of atoms at the end but I don’t have consumables like this. You’re one of the greats
I like to challenge myself in a sense and see if I can beat my prior personal best with the season pass. It also comes with the added bonus of not having to worry about not being able to reach rank 150 at the end of the season, and I can maximize the post 150 rewards I can claim each season. With leveling in general, I get enjoyment out of hyperfocusing on something for a while and giving myself longer term goals to work on. It's certainly not something for everyone, but it works for me. Just a sidenote as well, I engage with plenty of other content on 76 as well. West Tek isn't the only thing I do, and there's plenty of variety.
Aaaaaand what is the fun about that??? I mean, if you can 1 or 2 shot EVERYTHING in the game.... Where´s the challenge, where`s the fun? Sure it looks cool and all that... But... Come on..... It´s not fun.... There is nothing like a good old fight with Super Mutant´s kicking your ass, and you have to fight for it!
Can you level up beyond that level because a post on reddit a year ago someone said your level and its still the same at level 32767 and they said thats the cap level but everything i keep lookin it says there isn't a level cap
32767 is the max. There is a lot of info out there that says there isn't a cap, and that's likely older info from back when it wasn't known. These patch notes also mention the level cap of 32767: bethesda.net/en/article/3V4wAgOSZY42nGWxkg8W6i/fallout-76-update-notes-mutation-invasion. The specific patch note is under Bug Fixed & Improvements > Gameplay

Really impressive run. I cannot end a season bp, so it is really amazing ❤ One question, what is that headwear your wearing? Or the mask? Looks really nice with that outfit
Dropped Connection can drop Enclave plasma guns with a reflex sight, (aligned) auto barrel and a stabilized stock. I'd say that's the best place to start with Enclave plasma guns. For the actual reflex sight mod boxes (and precise/forceful stocks if you want those as well), you have to check the 2 Cranberry Bog NPC vendors and 1 Mire NPC vendor. The odds of getting these particular mod boxes are quite low though: it's 0.004% and 0.032% for the Bog and Mire respectively. I personally routinely check those vendors if I end up on a new world rather than doing dedicated server hopping. The mods I get in the long run do add up and it's nowhere near as soulcrushing as dedicated grinding.
I run 1 client through Steam, and 1 through the Microsoft Store. It's the method with the least hassle, but does require you to have the game installed twice, you need to download patches twice, etc. You can also run 2 Steam clients simultaneously as per this guide: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3153875374 I personally prefer the MS Store approach. I find that the Steam method occasionally has strange hiccups where it won't let me log in on 1 of the clients unless I re-run the batch file responsible for getting the 2 Steam clients running and some other mild annoyances.
I'm afraid I don't. I'm not a fan of running West Tek with other players because there's always some form of negative for any party involved. Having to be considerate of the other person's XP gains and them getting hits in would slow me down. If I kill things like normal at a fast pace and the other person can't get hits in on enemies, they are getting only 50% of the XP they would get compared to clearing it solo. It could also be a mix of both getting enemy tags in and not, where neither party is getting their full XP / clear rate.
Kill everything = smoother instance reset? I was using nuka nades (which does leave stragglers) and my clears were fast, but my resets were slow because if I tried too quickly then it wouldn't reset properly. And/or is it private server being smoother?
I use 2 accounts and the ability to join a team leader's instance to bypass the need to wait a minute in between each run. It boils down to: 1. The account I don't farm XP on is the team leader 2. I enter West Tek solo on the account I'm XP farming on 3. I clear West Tek like usual (on the non-leader account) 4. I exit West Tek (non-leader account) 5. On the leader account, I now enter West Tek 6. On the non-leader account, I hit the "help team leader" prompt on the door to join the team leader's instance 7. I clear West Tek like usual 8. I exit West Tek on both accounts 9. By this time, I've been out of my own non-leader instance for long enough that it's reset. So, I can enter West Tek solo again and clear it like usual. Once I finish this instance, the team leader's instance has reset, etc. It just becomes a loop of step 2-9 from this point onwards. As for the private server, that does make things less laggy and more smooth overall, but it doesn't affect the resets that much.
You might consider using Brain Bombs, instead of Brain Soup, because it gives a higher Int bonus and lasts longer. Brain Bombs Int +3 (+6 w/ Herbivore) 90 min duration Brain Fungus Soup Int +2 (+4 w/ Herbivore) It requires Brain Fungus x3 Mothman Egg x2 Purified Water x2 Sugar Bombs x3
Where are you seeing me use brain fungus soup or mention that I use it? I use brain bombs in the actual video and my listed XP buffs don't have any mentions of brain fungus soup either, at least as far as I can tell. I still appreciate the gesture of advice though, just wondering if a mistake slipped through somewhere.
Admittedly, I did record this particular run in 2 separate sessions of 2 hours and 3 hours respectively, but yeah, I can keep it up for a good few hours.
I use Grim Reaper's Sprint 3. It has a little over a 1 in 3 chance to restore all my AP on kill. Aside from that, I also use company tea to incrase my AP refresh rate in case Grim Reaper doesn't trigger.
Nuka nades have a handful of cons that make want to use regular weapons over them and make me believe they're not the most viable option. Nuka nades: - often don't kill everything. There's often a handful of straggler mobs with a tiny amount of health left. You can choose to run around and kill them, which is lost time, or leave them, which is lost XP. - have a way higher chance of killing you, which means you lose your Well Rested buff. You can either ignore this and lose XP over the remainder of the hour, or sleep in a bed + use the tome to get it back, which is lost time. - are harder to get in bulk. I can craft 100k+ ammo with ease, which lasts me dozens of hours. Assuming nuka nades can keep up with the pace I clear West Tek at, I'd be using 110-150 or so grenades an hour, which is a lot to keep stocked if I end up running 30-40+ hours of West Tek during a single double XP weekend. Nuka nades work in that sense if you don't farm XP a lot, but for higher quantities of it, it's tricky to keep a stockpile compared to ammo. - don't really keep you in an active rhythm / flow. Running & gunning requires you to be alert at all times, while nuka nades have this awkward run, pause, throw, run again, etc rhythm to them, which I don't find very intuitive, personally. If it says anything as well about guns VS nuka nades, I have yet to see anyone beat my own personal XP gains using nuka grenades. There's also now the potential explosive radius decrease on nukan ades. I've heard mixed reports of the radius actually being decreased or if it's just visual. If it is actually decreased, that now affects their performance negatively as well.
double xp was right around the corner could you not wait? xD. Also during double xp if you run duo with another person and they tag all the enemies with a tesla rifle it uncaps the 4k xp limit and you can get ludicrous xp per enemy, you having 2 accounts im wondering if it'd be worth to tag with alt then clear?. Unless they changed that im pretty sure its still a thing tho.
Waiting for double XP is quite 50/50 for me. I don't care about the increased effort aspect of doing it without double XP, and I do prefer a clean rank 1-100 season pass run over starting at rank 10 or so. Part of me does want to see how quickly I could clear a season pass during double XP, but I'd rather not wait a week+, and it wouldn't be as clean of a run as I'd like because it's impossible to not gain SCORE during a week or so of playtime. As for the 4k+ XP per kill bit, that was a bug and that has been fixed for a while now. I also doubt it would be more efficient than just clearing West Tek like normal. Alt tabbing between 2 accounts in actual combat is a bit clunky & tedious.
@@mrs-blobby ahhh me and my buddy would run west tek together and max the seasons out. I didn't know if they changed it or not cause we're coming back to the game after taking a break from it and skipping last season. Is there still any bonus for killing a enemy tagged by a party member? I dont think he has the gear to get the max 4k even on double xp. Maybe he does with the new +int buff not sure will have to see. Well I mean you go through on main with tesla, tag every single enemy and then alt tab and clear with alt. Which since its fixed doesn't matter now.
@@Eye02 There shouldn't be any more bonuses from killing team tagged mobs now. I believe it was happening due to the 50% team XP and your own full 100% XP from the mob stacking. Now, you just get your own 100% XP.
I started out doing the season passes quickly just to see how quick I could do it and basically just because I could. Nowaways, I partially do it out of habit because I've been doing it for years, and partially to try to beat my prior records in terms of completion time and challenge myself in a way.
