I remember when my mam use to make cheese and tomato sandwiches, when we went to the beach... they were always warm and had sand in them ... 63 years later, I'm still alive 😂😂
Ugh! Can't hardly eat bologna to this day. Mine only had mustard and lettuce. I NEVER ate lettuce on a sandwich back then, but the pukey stench of that room temperature bologna coming out of that clearance shelf "Bonanza" lunchbox (I'm a girl) has stuck with me all these decades later. Yuck!
We could smell fried bologna when we got off of the school bus, 100 ft away from the door. I gagged the entire time I walked the 100 ft to the door. I ran to my bedroom telling, "I'm not hungry!"
