Hello I'm Vicki and I love making fondant cake toppers! Welcome to my channel. Over my many years of making cakes I found that I really loved making sugar model cake toppers. I would always be asked how I made them, so I decided to create tutorials of the toppers I make! hi, to get my cupcakes roughly the same size I try to put the same amount of cake batter into each cupcake case. I use an ice cream scoop to do this, as this helps it get roughly the same amount is each case. Hope that helps. 😊
Most of the time it comes down to the product you use, as some brands can be sticky. I list the products that I use in the video's description. Warm days can also affect stickiness. So working a a cooler room and keeping your hands cool can help too 😊
I had the PME food coloring and they werent the best for my buttercream. I wanted vibrant colors but they were more pastel. I purchased a green by colour splash for grass effect and that was exactly the tube color. New to all this baking so thanks for your tip. I'll look into buying your suggestions. 😊
