So very enjoyable! Ramsbottom is where I lived as a child. For a brief period as a schoolboy I actually took the steam train daily from Ramsbottom to Bury. The scenery is so lovely. As for the trains: it may be a cliché to say this but they are like living creatures, beautiful machines to behold.

Speed, check out the ICE in Europe that goes through a station at 200km/h. 140 m/h. Then accelerates to 300 km/h plus in the open. Magnetic, not a sound.
Awsome stuff!!! But if this is going to be the main and permanent layout I recommend you change to larger points before it's too late. It's my biggest regret on my layout and if you have the space for it do it!!
