My issue is the exact opposite. I have damag clearly visible on MRI, but Eeg’s are usually fine. They know I’m having epileptic seizures and not psycogenic non epileptic seizures, but it’s still frustrating. They’ve tried 12 different medications and I either had an allergic reaction, the side effects (usually really dizzy. I use crutch to walk steadily already and low vision makes it dangerous) or they make the situation worse. Its annoying. Found this when searching for a term my neurologist commented to me when it was taken.
you are the boss, Fábio. Congratulations on your down-to-earth, professional-changing, neurophysiology-based right attitudes and pedagogical lectures. Best regards to Prof Westover.
Hey guys! I’m a registered traveling EEG Technologist. I am very new and I was wondering if there will be any coverage of The Pediatric EEG in the future?
Thank you so much for this . I am currently learning EEG analysis to apply for a post doc and this was really helpful. Thank you again for this whole series
Subtle distinction: Some patients with locked in syndrome can retain sensation below the neck. Still stimulating them below the neck won't be helpful if they cannot manifest an apparent response to the examiner.
I enjoy all your EEG talks. They are very clear explanation and makes it ease to understand. Please keep making topics on EEG. Can you do more neonatal EEG topics. do you have topic on Voltages? thanks
This is the best explanation for source localization on youtube! Very well done! ps: I also don't understand the reluctance out there against using voltage maps...
