Thanks for sharing, I'm just curious: is Oscar paddling without a leg leash? I saw him doing a remount in a Nelo 560 in strong winds, and he didn't have a leg leash on. I'm sure he can swim back to shore from there, so not saying he should use one. By the way, I'm paddling some of the surfskis carrying the "Aterra" sticker in our club (Klampenborg). And learn a lot from Henning Hansen. Just started my surfski journey, hope to join a race in Sweden around Helsingborg next year.
I don't think it's my imagination - isn't the swell in the later part of this video bigger and "asking" for significantly greater acceleration to get on some of the waves?
Hi yes you are correct, but do to many misstakes when i try to catch Axel instead of focusing on the waves so I go to hard and gets to many uphill situations.
Thanks for posting this… How did you find the volume of the MV? Can you comment on your leg length/or your overall size? I’m trying to determine whether I need an MV or HV - thanks!
Stratos is a shorter kayak and should be compared to P&H Virgo. They are slower kayaks because of the length but not slow and boring. The Leo is fast for its length but it have also a good hull.
Hi Björn, they are pretty similar but Leo have more rocker in the bow, Intrepid is faster and lighter with less weight in bow and stern. Havent had the chance to be in the Stellar in the same wind/conditions. Leo is superstable but Intrepid is a bit tippy for a sea kayak. Both have very high endstability. In cleaner waves the Stellar is the best choice beacause of the weight, its a light boat and dont like to hit rocks though.
