Hello, i have a turbo Mx-5 running ME221 and i'm in competing in an autocross championship and i desperately need antilag, can you give me more information about how you managed to do it ?
Glad to say i too have this on record and even though you saw me looking back after that hairpin turn it wasnt me lol havent uploaded my pov yet but i know the camera wasnt the greatest angle but good racing with you a few times this season and cant wait for next year
hey mate have you ever thought about adding commentary to your racing videos as to talk about your position in the race who you would want to overtake and such but even so great vid mate
The start & park B.S. has always bothered me especially in Nascar where it was really bad there for a few decades but has calmed down the last few years. The start & park teams ruin it for the little guy who is trying to make it big & hopefully get that call one day from a Nascar Cup,Exfinity or Truck series team. Dale Earnhardt Jr. gave Nascar Cup & Exfinity series champion Brad Keselowski his big break in the Exfinity series driving the #88 Chevy for “Junior Motorsports & Dale Jr. revived Elliot Sadler’s career driving in the Exfinity series but in top notch equipment & just always came up so short of an Exfinity series championship but it wasn’t for a lack of effort that’s for sure. Dale Jr. has also gave many other drivers their big break as well. Ron Fellows & the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. were fairly good friends & Dale Sr. hired Fellows to race on the roadcourses for several years & to teach Dale Sr. & Dale Jr. how to race on roadcourses & street courses which are two totally different breeds. The Canadian NASCAR Pintys series is a very diverse series in which they race on ovals, roadcourses, street courses & now dirt at “Oshweken Speedway”. To win a Nascar pintys series championship the driver/teams has to have their program together 💯%
We were probably the same age karting here the same year. So crazy how time flies. I remember how quiet the track used to be, I was almost always by myself or maybe with 3 other kids every day I was there.
Pretty easy I bought the iOS SD card reader to transfer the videos faster and then you open racechrono and import the files from your photo album you do have to create a custom track profile for the karting track though
I loved it too! Looks really neat, with all the stats, track position, g-force and, especially, splits! Btw, I am the lonely spectator on the top row of the grandstand :) Great driving, and congrats on the win!
Ooooh we are finally doing the long track (no bowl). Can't wait till Sunday! Also, good heat! I can't tell how many places you made up, so much back & forth! Looked fun :)
Hey Curtis, nice video! I have a couple of questions if that's ok? I just downloaded the Race Chrono app, bit cannot find the Mosport kart track in there. How did you do that? Also, how did you combine the race Chrono overlay onto the GoPro footage, was that done after the fact or did you him the two together during the session? I want to get more data collection ready for this Sunday's race :)
Hey Tom the kart tracks are not on there so I created them as custom tracks I started with the longest version and then copied them to make the different versions so that the sectors stay in the same spot. To get the data after a session I take SD card and plug it into an adapter I have for an iPhone and import the videos to my library then open RaceChrono and import the GPS data from the GoPro and it creates the session
@@CurJam87 Thanks Curtis. Do I have to 'walk the track' to set the start/finish line or can you do it after the session? Oh I just realised, you have GPS in your GoPro. My old one does not have that. I was hoping to record in RaceChrono on my phone and combine with GoPro footage later... Is that mount on the top of your helmet or is it a chin mount?
Awesome laps. Seems like you had that hilltop bend figured out. I liked the telemetry data. The entire facility looks so different since I was there 10 years ago.
