All fitness influencers recommend tracking food but they never mention how hard it is to do it accurately. I’ve been tracking loosely but I cook at home a lot so it’s hard to know the exact calories of what I’m eating. It’s all approximate basically.

No such thing as bad foods? Think again lol. Everything else you said I mostly agree with. But girl please don't tell people oreos are healthy if you eat a few instead of the whole packet. They processed and horrible for you and shouldn't by any means be a part of a regular diet. Having it once in a while as a treat is fine. Also exercising to lose weight is nuanced. Some people need that extra 10-20% push from exercising to actually see results. It depends on metabolism ofc and dieting is 80-90% of it so yes, just exercising won't do anything. Good content but be more mindful. It's misleading to say there's no such thing as bad food when we're surrounded by processed foods everywhere we go.

The thing I don’t like about the GE scale is that it’s not battery operated so you have to charge… the batteries……. Also seems insane that aesthetics is a rating for a scale to weigh yourself.

like the intuitive eating, is only applicable if you shrank your stomach first by eating much less for a month. And it only works for a short period of time. When I lost 10kg, I indeed didn't had to measure anymore as my stomach was smaller because of eating small portions but after a few months I noticed my stomach was growing gradually again. So now I'm back at it, with the food-scale measuring everything again because I totally forgot that I used to eat so little!

The sleep thing I've been trying to fix for a long time now, it's hard since I do graveyard shifts as an RN sometimes, and there are days when I don't work I stay up till 4am sometimes. Any tips and advice to help with transitioning into better sleep hygiene to get more productivity for my weightloss. Thank you!❤ I've lost about 34 lbs so far in the course of a year, but I feel it's so slow compared to when I tried to lose weight 2 years ago (it took me 4 months to lose 30 lbs then, also I was 32-33 y.o then too) I'm trying to lose 20 more lbs to try and hit 150 lbs (hopefully to 140 if I'm lucky!) 🙏🙏🙏

Hum.....i am not sure it is as simple as cCalorie deficit. What you eat matters more. Calorie deficit done wrong can slow down your basal metabolic rate and actually lead to weight gain even though you are eating less! Surely what you are eating is more important than how much you are eating? Also, considering that it is much easier to overeat cake than it is chicken.

Calorie and Macro counting app. Rigorous tracking. You literally cannot fail if you actually measure everything. Only one rule: If you cannot accurately track it to within 10-15% accuracy YOU DO NOT EAT IT. The only exception is if you might be physically harmed by that rule i.e. virtually never. *Quick edit: if you have Disordered Eating habits, speak to a therapist first.

Happy you tested BodyFat scales! Can we test again? TWO BIG POINTS: 1) Please test 8 point scales, not 4 point. 2) precision is far more important than accuracy. I am looking for a scale that says when I gain 1% body fat, that says I gained 1% body fat. Precision. I have access to 3 body fat scale and I am happy to help if you like!

Being fat is just a sign of a weak minded person who lacks awareness. Most people eat because they don't ever want to face their own emotions while nurturing those emotions. So they reach for foods, sugars, drugs, s&x, or any other addictions. None of these things will ever fill the void. Our bodies want us to lovingly process our emotions. To give those emotions love and care. This is the root of the problem. People use addictions to run away from themselves. The people laughing about being fat is such a sad thing. They hate themselves and laugh about it. Pathetic.

Hey, I’m a long time follower not so much commenter… I am very similar to yourself without the bikini modelling 😂 but my weight can fluctuate, mainly due to having endometriosis. I was wondering and I think I know what you’re going to say… but my thighs have always been an issue, even at my happy and fit weight of 154lbs (I’m 5’7) my thighs are still really, well - fat! I can feel the muscle underneath but they are still super thick and not entirely toned. What are your tips for jelly thighs!? Help!

Thank you! Some take aways, Calorie Deficit more important than exercise. Macros are important because they help curb hunger. I've been afraid or don't want to track macros, but I could try to pay a little attention to help with the hungry times so I don't binge!! I can try to focus and hope to get more fit/ better looking.. Goals.

I have the renpho scale and at an athlete level I was around 17% body fat and at regular I am at 26%. I had a DEXA scan a month ago and it has me at 38.9%😱👀 I am now at the obese level at 5’5” and 134.6 pounds and wear a size 7 jeans at age 58.

Being an intuitive eater really helped me lose weight,of course everyone is different but I finally realised that I had been eating when i wasn’t even hungry and that’s why I was gaining weight

If trainers/ influencers fluctuate in weight and go back and forth between weighing food then intuitive eating, they haven’t found a nutrition plan that works for them. This is yo yo dieting. Weight should be consistent and sustainable if done right. Give or take 3 pounds. But not 10-15 pounds.
