Plus they share the same bday month (September) and the au can go after deathly hallows (full parts -the future) she just moved due to trauma etc, leaving everyone behind, changed her appearance (or she pretended to be someone named hermione and put a wig n stuff, came up with a name to forget about her past) and never told anyone abt her brothers + past. For anyone who hates dazai for what he did to akutagawa, dazai gave him two options. Either dazai can give him and his sister a home and enough money to live a normal life, or he can give him a reason to live, join the port mafia but he also said that it would include a lot of pain and suffering. Akutagawa knew what he was getting into, and dazai didn’t know better. He was involved with the port mafia since 14 and also was involved with mori (a genuine child abuser and pedophile) who also made dazai eat chapstick until he threw up. And also, abuse was normal in the mafia. While it was not good, he didn’t know better and it was also the way to get akutagawa to control his ability.
I was like partially homophobic partially just not knowing about it. For context, I knew a couple of people who were at the time both identifying as Cisgender females and dating (one to my latest knowledge is Nonbinary and idk about the other one) and I didn't like it like I thought it was weird. Like it wasn't right. I also had no idea LGBTQIA+ even existed though. I'm currently Trans FTM, Bisexual, Abrosexual and Polyamorous and I haven't changed anything since I found out I was Abrosexual Sophomore year. I'm going into my Senior year this year. I however for my safety will not be revealing my age because there's been some controversy with that lately.
