The El Reno Oklahoma tornado was in 2013 and was 2.5 mi wide. It would go down in history as the largest tornado ever recorded with the highest wind speeds ever recorded at 307 miles per hour it killed chasers Tim Samaras, his son and another chaser was also killed. Just to put in perspective what 307 mile an hour winds would do, winds of 155 mph will bend steel pipes. The El Reno nightmare tornado left two and a half foot deep pathways in the ground where it traveled.
When I was watching this my phone went off right as one of the warnings came from the video so it synced up and I didn't realize it until I realized my phone was buzzing
I lived through the May 3rd F-5, May 8th F-4, and the May 20th EF-5. I still live in Moore, Oklahoma. I'm born and raised in Oklahoma, and Moore is the city I call home. I don't run from tornadoes, especially with the ones I've survived
"Tornado watch 86?" In my experience when I lived in Oklahoma they usually just said "A tornado watch has been issued until..." unless something changed recently
