I love the fact the parade is on TV but sometimes . . . they talk too much! And the sound quality is NOT so good. But Ihope I can stream it for 2019 as I (in order to be closer to grandkids) moved to Western PA) !!! I have to see the String Bands on New Year's Day or it's not a Holiday! and Year off to a bad start ir NO String Bands!!

Thanks for putting this up. I love the sound of banjos & glockenspiels, and I'm sad that they have been almost completely replaced by saxes, that the elaborate feathered backpieces have been replaced by costumes and sets, and struttin' & prancin' have been replaced by choreography. It was good to hear at least half the bands march off to 'Dem Golden Slippers. Today's string bands can't seem to make up their minds whether they're strings or fancies.
