Wish I still had mine, same model and color. I’m not sure I even realized that the scale was smaller and what a smaller scale actually means, back when I owned this guitar. But one thing I can remember was how amazing the string bending was and how easy it was to bend compared to my other guitars. 2 of my biggest regrets was selling this guitar and before that I had a Gibson USA SG that was probably the best guitar I ever owned and got ripped off by a pawn shop on it. But my main reason for selling my baby Dean ML was because it was a right handed guitar and I started to play with the strings restrung for a lefty which cost me like 80$ bucks to do that to my older guitar so instead of waiting until I had 80$ I just sold it because of a drug addiction several years ago. But I found my love for guitar again! And got clean about 4yrs ago
I purchased a maestro sg for $30 and everything works on it but has a little body damage want to repaint it and put a new pick guard but having trouble finding one. Can you tell me where to get one ?
I just bought an Altec Lansing AL1000...now a Edison britelite AL1000 it powers on connects to Bluetooth and controls my phone as far as play/pause on my phone when pressed on the speaker but I'm getting no sound at all...any idea what it could be?
Try plugging something in to be sure everything works without Bluetooth. If it does try a different device to connect. If a different device works you know it's something in the interface between your phone and the speaker.
I need help with my sound system. I have an Edison Professional 4000. I had it for two weeks and the sound stopped working all of a sudden. I smelled something burning before it stopped. It was connected using Bluetooth from my phone. Can you reach out to me, I want to get it fixed
I'd start with checking the wires that run to that speaker. I haven't been inside one of these for some time but if possible plug the working speakers wire into the nonworking speaker check the speaker itself.
That was my first wah pedal. Bought it at Sam goody in like 2004. They had a sale going on it, the Washburn phaser, Washburn flanger, and the Washburn chorus. I was perplexed as to why it didn't sound like voodoo child to a T. Sent me on an 18 year quest that culminated in me recieveing my first vintage wah pedal today. A 1967-1968 Vox Clyde McCoy Script, all original. And it has IT. Cool trio down memory lane here
If I was that set on keeping my tone at a set level I think I would measure the resistance of the pot and just unhook it and and a resistor of that value. Tone knob wouldn't be wired.
@@BryanSavage People are weird, man. I'm one of those people who actually uses tone knobs, but I understand that others feel like they're just taking up space.
What pots have this guitar? Are 250k a or 500k a? Can you recommend me an upgrade for this guitar? I have the same guitar but don't know much about upgrade an guitar
I have an old maestro mini Flying V I’m trying to figure out how to spruce up a bit. It’s such a small little shredder, I want to put like a blackout or something in it
Hey I have a Edison Professional M2000, its receiving power (The power light is lighting up) but as soon as I turn it on you hear a sound from the inside and nothing else happens. It doesn't turn on or anything. I dont think it's the fuse but I bought some just in case it is. Their otw rn but do you have an idea of what it could be??
I'm having fun with my cheap investment. Lol! I thought my les paul 2001 is cool but this one is, well... I took it all apart. Tone and volume seemed to be mixed. I am curious as to if I can fix the buzzing string and then it will get a push pull pot with and new humbucker.
Not sure but it sounds like the LCD screen or the DSP chip has failed. Check that the screen is getting volts and if so replace it if the screen is not receiving voltage replace DSP. Of course check ALL electrical connectors 1st.
Is there a way to fix it with just its stock wires etc? Mine won't wah even when I click the switch on with my finger but I can hear my guitar through it, someone told me my potentiometer might be fried, or it might be a resistor that blew. Any help?
Not sure what might be wrong with it. If u have a meter u might try checking voltages starting at the power supply. If all checks out look thru the signal chain. I would also test the switch
I would have a hard time playing it with .012 around the 7th-8th fret, I have a '75 4001 that I have adjusted to 0.05" The truss rods have very little tension on them. The action at the 12th frt is E-0.060" and 0.050" on the G. Super low "fast" action with no buzz anywhere. First fret is 0.08 across the board.. Guess every body has there own preference's
Hey man, I know this is an old vid but I’ll take chance you question just in case. My so p/u GCB95 for $50(learning experience for him) There is a problem with the pedal retention. No matter we’re we leave the foot pedal angle it drops. It has know retention. I’m not expert and needs some help. - the cry baby he(my son) bought also has what looks like white lithium grease (overkill) on the moving parts. Thanks man.
That's an early 90's Lotus, made in India (weird right?). That is factory finish. These aren't my favorites. The good lotus' have the little flower next to the logo on the headstock. Those are the early 80's japanese models. I've got one that came with a figured maple neck (flame and quilt) and it rocks. I dislike how the body isn't contoured on these 90's models. Kinda slabby. They also have a square cut at the end of the fretboard. Hate that for no good reason. These also have narrower string spacing in the bridge and makes it a total PITA to do anything about the bridge on them. What I ended up doing on mine was buying graph tech saddles and filing the sides down to fit on the original base plate. You'll never find a neck pickup that lines up with the string spacing. I went with a Lindy Fralin, the one with the split blade pole pieces. Other than that, yeah it's a cheap strat.
Ric has changed the bridge on these. If I had one made before the change, I would put a Hip Shot Ric Bridge on it. I have in the past and didn't look back.
