ahh friend, I hope this stayed on for you but the frequent touching with your bare hands after stripping the rust from the header very likely deposited body oils on to the surface and thus weak application spots for the paint. For all those who watch and want to do this and have it last, some big take away's are: -Wear clean latex (or equivalent if you're allergic) gloves while stripping and cleaning. -After stripping rust from the header surface to ensure the surface is fully clean of dust particulate and free from oils: use acetone or a similar solvent heavily on the entire exterior, then place the header in your oven for 1 hour at ~300°F/ 150°C and let the header cool in the oven with heat off for another hour to remove any remaining oil and moisture, AGAIN use acetone or similar to wipe down the header with a microfiber cloth, and once it is dry apply paint immediately as rust is already beginning to accumulate on the surface again as time passes and it is exposed to ambient humidity. (if you cannot paint immediately following, place the header in a large airtight plastic bag or wrap it in kitchen plastic wrap and store it in a dry location with desiccant beads until you're ready.) I tell you this only because I have failed this challenge multiple times and these steps were the killers.
i'm still watching , so i havent finished the video yet and i realise its 12 months too late but the 4 aluminium thick "washers" in the bag are feet for the cage. it's to stabilise the cage and reinforce the shift feel.
The main point of concern with the "budget" devices is not the performance out of the box, it's how soon they break down (esp. when it's a few days after the warranty expires).
i drove a high-end sim in Punta Gorda Fl at Function Motorsports and 1 of the rigs had this wheel. was impressed, put on my list for next purchase. It does everything and feels great. Great value rim.
A bunch of bullshit. Give me back my time wasted watching this worthless chatter. You didn't even answer the question this video is supposed to answer.
Thank you for having such a realistic perspective on this topic. I don't think any "anti-hooning" campaigns that the government has attempted really works because the government/police are who hooners truly despise in the first place, so they are more unwilling to listen. I had a friend who almost fell into the bloke-with-chip-on-shoulder, hooning rabbithole while I was in uni, he tried doing it while I was in the car and I just said to him: "Dude. You look like a cunt, and I'm embarrassed to be in the car with you because now we both look like cunts." Lone and behold, he actually grew up and grew out of it (thank god.) So yeah, like you say, it's their peers that have more sway in actual change. I think people like you should be at the forefront of similar campaigns, because of your character development and realistic takes. A great randomly recommended video and well done!
What is your steering wheel rotation set to because mine feels supper weird on 900 but feels but on 2000 the max but it still doesn’t feel as smooth as a normal Logitech would. I’m on the series x as well don’t know if anyone else has this set up or runs into this issue
Lmao, took me too long that the some of the left half was being key'ed out by the green screen. It wasn't until the B-roll that I realized they are green :D
I was looking for a fuel filter replacement video for my car, a 2005 Lancer Cedia 1.6L 4G18 and looks the same as yours. It is so hard to find quality videos about this car and when I saw your fuel filter replacement video, I knew I had to check out your other videos about this car. It may not be the exact same, but it's damn close and I'm going to binge this series of sorts. Cheers, and subbed!
Erm.... YOU are the ONLY person to think the VHT swill isn't Complete Krap ! Typically the shite lives maybe 3 months (often only 3 weeks) before it flakes/ falls off / burns.
You know what's the coolest part of this car? that you're turning it into something you love and really enjoy the process, and it really shows. Congrats bro!!
Thanks for the video Kyle 🙂 I am currently building/buying the parts for my first ever Rig and just bought the TR120 with TR-One Front Mount, but am in two minds between Front Mounting and Side Mounting my Wheel Base..... do you think, with the way it's packaged that the Black "Spacers" for Side Mounting come standard in the basic TR-One Box? i.e. do you think the base TR-One comes with the Side Spacers and only if you want to Front Mount or Base Plate Mount, then they are 2 separate other Options to purchase? Cheers in advance, Don, Perth WA (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland).... p.s. I've Subscribed 😀
Need to do the same for my partner's 04 lancer ES, is Ryco a good brand? Should I do pump at same time or just filter? It has started losing acceleration when pushing accelerator pedal down to about half way point, I am thinking it's the fuel filter, worth a shot as a starting point anyway!
I just started to look into the dual stream solution for my rig. my main concern is about the output of the rig: from what I collected so far, the gaming pc sends only the video signal of the selected monitor, right? Because I play on ACC, and I have my OBS set on different apps like ACC Drive that run in front of the game, but for the purpose of racing are placed in strategic places of the 3monitor setup, and my layout on OBS is different from the layout I play with… how can you manage that?
Hello, thanks for the video! I have a question regarding video capture. Do you use the nvidia surround? Or just the triple screen separately? I have a videocapture 1920x1080 60fps. If I clone it, do I still having the 144 fps on the central monitor? Thanks!
