I love the Elite 64 series and that BMW looks great. Want to do a funny but sad comparison? Compare that Elite 64 BMW to the recently released premium BMW abomination from Matchbox. Sometimes I honestly can’t believe these companies are owned by the same parent company. That MB may truly be one of the worst premium releases ever by any brand ever. Horrific!
Did you see the new F1 car on Mattel creations? Comes with extra tires like an M2 car. They want 25 bucks for it, which is too steep in my opinion. Its suppose to celebrate some relationship with F1 racing, but they already have two F1 cars in the mainline this year and they aren't 25 dollars lol
This guy is the biggest cry baby of all time, if it wasn’t for what you go “scalpers” no one would collect hot wheels and to hear you talk about mom and dad buying an $8 car for their kid makes you a cry baby numbnuts

Collecting $5 dollar toy cars from Wallmarts, how is this a hobby? Who collects this junk?..... Hot Wheels have changed throughout the years, it's not what it used to be.

Love the models, and I won’t be getting into elite 64, redline club is my last stop in hot wheels collecting, if I start a whole other series I’ll have to remortgage my home to pay for it. That said, thank you for always opening your models so I don’t have to!✌️
We can't forget about the store employees who bust cases before they hit the floor I've seen it for myself, Local Dollar Tree cases are busted before they're even put out
Its the employees sometimes. Same happens in Mexico. They hide the good cars behind other toys not related. Once I found 4 great cars (in an HEB) behind some barbie dolls then put them on the cart and then an employee passed by and kept staring at me and my cart. Look for cars hidden not just in the diecast area.
Ebay and amazon resellers killed the hobby. Not onlt TH but the cool licensed cars and looks like Mattel is releasing even more fantasy cars that probably nobody will buy.
For me it’s about collecting I hunt em all and I especially relish in catching the elusive supers I leave the regulars for the kids most the time. I get what I like and don’t worry about everyone else is doing. I’ve saw all the things you’ve mentioned. I’ve got the Nissan transporter I have the Porsche neon in fact I have every neon speeder. I’ve got the Supra I’ve got the impala treasure I’ve got the Hirohata merc with the card variants to boot. Stay positive the world will give you enough negativity. Bought my first Hotwheels at 8 still have it. It’s all timing brother. Never sold one just trades.
I collected HW pretty heavily for several years in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was hell back then finding what I wanted. I NEVER scalped or even sold anything. And, I absolutely NEVER bought from scalpers and flippers. If people would stop giving money to the scalpers, things would be different. And, I think about selling my stash every now and then just to reclaim the space in my basement. I'd honestly probably just donate a bunch of it since a lot of them barely seem to be worth the 99¢ I paid in the first place, lol. These things are not an investment, and I never looked at it like that. It was just fun for the handful of years I did it. If you just collect the castings you like and enjoy them for what they are, you're doing it right. The videos of guys going store to store and cleaning out every copy of every rare car they find make me sick. Greed is the new norm, unfortunately. And honestly, I see local shops do their fair share of scalping as well. It's no more legitimate just because they have a storefront. They're doing the same thing as the scalpers who post their stuff on eBay.
What a contradicting meatball this guy is. He says all the chase, STH and mainline versions of them, the regular TH are all gone. Well that row of firebirds contradicts that. He points out a civic blvd, then says no JDM Blvd were left. He said only the Benz TT was left and then opens a Silverado and nova. He says he doesn’t resell, then talks bout considering selling a Shelby. Now I appreciate my local scalper, I can buy a blvd set for $50-$55 and spend no time hunting, my time is worth $15-$20 and that $15-$20 definitely helps my local scalper support his family while working through hard times. Maybe so many cars are left, because the manufacturer is making more? Now if I am lucky enough to find sth or chase cars I am buying them all and selling them to buy cars I haven’t found and actual cars worth something from the 1970’s. This guy should go eat an 🍆
I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CARS EVERYBODY ELSE IS COLLECTING !! I CARE ABOUT WHAT I LIKE !! I Like the MUSCLE CARS and the HOT WHEELS FROM THE 70S AND 80S !!
Quit buying from scalpers. It sucks but I've Quit. I still look at the store I happen to be in for necessity. But I refuse to buy from 3rd party. The love I had for collecting is the chase. The chase has been ruined.
Honestly, it has been this way since the 1995 TH hit the shelves. I was in TN and 2x per week I would hit the WM on my way home from work and it was always stocked so completing year sets were not difficult, but once the TH hit the shelves, I noticed that I had trouble finding certain cars, wheel variations or car paint variations cuz everyone and their grandma were now buying HW (scalpers); folks I never saw in my 3+years buying there. For me the hobby died then. Also, the yearly line up of cars increased so I just started only picking up certain models but my interest was gone so I stopped.
I saw A all the way to F case for 2025...way, way too many repaints. What is Mattel doing? Out of the cars i saw, its mostly ones from 2024 and 2023. I see a lot of people on facebook and Instagram complaining about it..its really bad
@@99Vood99 now that you say that, I could totally see it. They came out with a new pre order online, an F1 car..comes with three extra sets of tires(kinda like an M2 car)and they want 25 bucks for it. But I couldn't believe how many repaints I saw, they are even doing another landpseeder from star wars, they just did one for 2023 which was a re-release of the one from a few years before that...I'll definitely be saving money next year. I wonder if what you said is true given also the distribution on some things like this years 56 anniversary waves, distribution is a joke on those..whereas last year most stores had them
@@robbieracer3294 absolutely my friend, they are a business out to make as much money as possible. That F1 license is not cheap and they are watching the resale/secondary markets to see how much people are willing to pay.
Ok...I know absolutely nothing about those Elite 64 cars. The paint on the front didn't look too good no? Wow, the hood popped right off...but under the hood looks amazing. Oh wow...I just looked up a few for 2023. Beautiful.
Those Monte Carlo Lowrider Hot Wheels look sweet as sweet can be(being a Mexican dude from the Western U.S. I love my Lowriders), that BMW Hot Wheels car looks cool too. Does MTL have a Lowrider(or Mini-Truck) scene out there? I heard Vancouver B.C. does and Toronto ON too I believe, if MTL has a Lowrider scene that's cool. All in all another great video Phil

I didn't opt for the BMW. It's still for sale. The cool thing about Phil is he'll show us every color of each model. But I couldn't get out of class to order the Monte Carlo 🤬😈🤬

As a MiniGT, Pop Race, Tarmac Works and Inno64 diecast 1/64 collector my self is beyond me that scalpers are reselling TOYS from a TOY brand like hotwheels with no details and AWFUL rims at the same price or more than a real collection piece from a collection brand with insane attention to details. I mean, don't get me wrong, everyone is free to collect whatever they want, but would you buy overhyped rocks that you can get for free from the ground only for the hype?
Great video! Like the 3 boulevards you got, I will be looking for the same 3. I also like the 24 Civic Spoon Motorsport but will wait on that one. I found the price of the original Civic EG Spoon was crazy but waited and got one at a local meet for $12.00 from a guy who had about 10 of them. Hoping the 24 Civic will be the same.
