As long as you have love, knowledge and humbleness you have Jesus in you, you have Krishna in you, you have Buddha in you. Remember these words and you shall live forever. I lost the videotape over 25 years ago after my family and I moved, but I would randomly hum this song to myself over the years, not knowing the words. I cannot believe I came across this today. Like all of you, I am also crying tears of joy. The nostalgia I am feeling is other worldly 🤍

It brings me joy in reading all these comments. Brings me hope that there is some glimpse of good out there in everyone's heart, despite all the bad in the world. To the agnostic creator of this anime series, Osamu Tezuka, we thank you for these fond memories.
Probably a quiet, private life at this point three decades later, and hopefully a happy one as well. Reimy's last public appearance was way back in 2011 when she performed alongside the musicians and voice actors of the Anohana Anime at a festival, with Anohana's soundtrack being the last credited project she's worked on since. This particular song actually came out around the same time her career started to slow down as she stopped releasing her own music albums and turned her focus to tv/movie soundtracks, almost all of which were never shown in America. Since the anime for this song was a big exception I eventually came learn about the rest of her music as well. If one of her songs ever gets the Mariya Takeuchi/Miki Matsubara RU-vid algorithm treatment then who knows, it might just springboard her into modern-day relevancy, in spite of her well-earned unofficial retirement.
