Guys, as you could see in the video, this DIY treatment had particles. And that's why it took a long time to thoroughly rinse out. This happens with most DIY treatments, and I am still trying to research ways to prevent this. Just know that warm water & proper rinsing in smaller sections works to remove the particles and keep the hair detangled. ❤ I'll keep sharing updates with you guys in my upcoming Ayurvedic hair experiments and treatments. 🩵
not me thinking it was colour wax🤣!! Definitely will try this .Normally I use Ayurvedic treatment by boiling water with fenugreek, rosemary and green tea. I spray this mix on my hair when moisturising my hair. My hair is high porosity so I use that mix as the liquid when moisturising my hair with the LOC method. Those herbs have helped increase the thickness of my hair.

Exactly!! This hateful and discriminatory way of thinking about afro hair really hurts young minds. It literally just leads to so much comparison and someone wishing their hair was 'easier' to manage or 'straighter' coz then it'd be 'more beautiful/classy'
Yeah, it can be cause so much negativity in someone's personal journey coz that comparison shifts focus away from growing & understanding their natural hair. Overall, it slows down their growth journey and affects their self-esteem too.
