It’s a Polaris industry bike. Fine machine, haven’t seen many on the road lately here in the Bay Area , two club members with them. One has had many problems but they corrected them.
@@edgibson9002 my buddy just picked up an FTR a few weeks ago and we rode all the way to Sturgis and back with no issues… other than the small gas tank 😂
I posted some riding vids of my long trips, i don't know how Scottie doesn't get eaten alive by misquitos and other bugs, camping is fun and actually very peacefull at times but it can also be a nightmare with bugs or bad weather.
Most of the tools purchased by mechanics never end up being used. A truly smart mechanic would only purchase the tools used for the jobs he typically performs. It would help if manufacturers would publish a tool list for every vehicle and service operation.
Appreciated, just wished you appeared more like conversing with Scotty, oppose to constantly looking into the camera, while he was speaking with you and asking him questions. Great interview nevertheless!

I thought everyone knew Scooter Tramp Scotty. I've followed him since day one and he's a pretty cool guy until he started his anti-gov and anti-vax bullshit. Had to quit following him.
Very interesting! I just found a 1999 883 for $400. I love the idea of a project bike but it scares me honestly lol garage kept but hasn’t run in 10 years. I’m thinking about it because it seems like a great learning opportunity
@@zackadams419 for $400 you literally can’t lose! If it has mag wheels, they’re worth $600 and up. Worst case you part it out, best case you build an awesome budget bike. 🏁
@@Circlesaucecheese yes, heat cycling It is crucial in the beginning and you don’t wanna use harsh chemicals to wash it. A good spray polish after it’s done will help the dirt and grime come off easier.
Scotty has his lifestyle down pat, he and Joe Rader have a great life on the road. I went from Florida to Ohio in June and took my time doing it their way and I could see where it's addicting. But at 66 it's a little late in the game for me to go full time.

Very cool I've been following Scotty for the last 4 years. I've learned a lot from him as far as On the road camping, he also goes to Mexico every year. He's a winter bird. He's also an author Josie's journey.You should have bought his book.He's an icon in the motorcycle community.. Very cool brother.Thank you for sharing his video.
Great video. I have the identical issue with my 77 Corvette. What is the actual part that I need in the column? I found a lever but having trouble locating the actual switch you have in your had @ 1:31. Thanks
I'll let you know in a few hours.... Mine is not grinding or knocking ....it sounds like a plastic gear rubbing and is louder than a freight train on spin cycle!
