Came for the space guitar, found the robin. Double points! The robin isn't albino, which is a complete lack of pigment. The eyes are brown and there is some orange color on the breast, so no albinism. This is instead a condition known as leucism, similar human alopecia, in that it is a melanin disorder. A bird's black and brown colors are a result of melanin in the feathers. A leucistic bird doesn't get its melanin into the feathers, with a result you've captured here. Way cool, and thank you!
Not a major crossing. Grade crossings like this are common south of the metro in that area but this particular line is usually what they call exempt meaning it is still an active line and trains can come at any time but usually not used very often. Another railroading term "embargoed" means the line is inactive and won't see any activity at any time.
It's a Roland Ready Strat. It has the pick-up built in. But you can buy the pickup separately and fit it to your existing guitars. More interestingly, this device can be used without the special pickup - it then becomes a standard guitar and amp modeler. And the external pickup is removable to stock in just minutes.
@@smartti1970 Yes. I have also gigged with it recently and this coming weekend I'll be using it with electric bass for a gig. It's more than just a guitar synth, it's a recording interface (multichannel, you can separate each string into your daw so you can process each string with different effects) as well as a tuner, multi-effects unit, and more.
The hiss is common to this amp series. Maybe it is solved with the brand new lineup. Mine is newer than this and it has the hiss as well. Great platform for processors going into the power amp section as done here.
Dude, I seriously just watched one of your other videos because of a good comment you had made on a video. Now by sheer coincidence you've made another video that I needed. Hell yeah. make more of these dude, everybody is so sick of all the sponsored videos who just do it for money. You have actual insight.
@@aliensporebomb right, I can hear the video camera recording it lol. Anyway I wouldn't have thought to go straight into the effects loop, interesting. I noticed my JC-40 doesn't hiss too bad when the treble knob is turned down some from 12 o clock position. Pretty recordable, especially if the mic is a few inches back.
I was wondering the same…… I almost went with the 120, but the whole reason I was getting a new amp was because my Fender The Twin (red knob is NOT the “evil” version, people! I don’t know how or why that has become such a common misunderstanding that it seems more people think it’s true than realize it’s not 🤷♂️) was WAY too loud to use pretty much anywhere save for maybe Madison square gardens? lol… don’t think I’m playing there anytime soon 😅 and realized the 120 was PROBABLY not the best solution re volume, lol….. I got the 40 and STILL sometimes have some issues with the volume when using certain rig setups…
Cool I have the boss me 33 from either.. Bernie's or harrieds in Redding California, my dad got it when I was like 12. But .. Everything has gotten worst since that one
Jackson Soloist - mostly bridge pickup, Boss OC-2 octaver, Mesa Studio preamp set clean, Lexicon Vortex with my "Alien Murk" preset and TC Electronic G Sharp reverb plus the Expert Sleeper's Augustus Loop. That's it - direct to the recorder.
Love your videos! Always beein love with Lexicon Vortex and your earlier demos, now i was thinking to getting a boss rc-300 for glitches or not so common sounds. I had bad experiences trying to use a boss rc-300 in an intuitive way, but i'm looking it in another perspective now. Thank you this demo!
It still can do the chorus effect - it's just that gain staging for the preamp is what is causing the hiss. I disabled chorus since my modeler was producing the chorus effect.
Where were you in 1986 when I rolled this monster into my closet? I'll have to roll it back out and try it again. So I can run some pedals in a chain but just make sure to use the back of the amp? Thank you so so so much😊
Sweet...I went from using a Helix with a JTV 89F to using the BOSS SY1000 with a GK on a guitar that I love playing when doing live gigs with the cover band I'm in...I'm the only guitarist in the band, and we play stuff that, in order to get at least in the ballpark of the tones in the cover songs, I utilize the different options to go from alternate tunings, acoustic guitar tones, electric guitar tones, etc....to pull that off...I don't think I'm updated to 1.08 yet...going to check after seeing this video....thanks for posting this, and hope you and yours are doing great...
holy crap that's gotta be the cutest kitten ever... so cute i feel like my cute receptor is fried, i can't feel cuteness anymore. I just accepted his cuteness
