I have found Bing Chat to be helpful with writing lyrics. Adjusting queries to better get the results you are looking for can be a challenge but I am sometimes pleasantly surprised by the cleverness of the returned lyrics. These tools can provide inspiration and be a time-saver. Consider them a tool, not a replacement for the songwriter.
After reading the comments, I decided to ask it to take some lyrics from a band I was trying to get similar lyrics to, turn that into a short story, then in a new conversation paste in that story and ask to turn THAT into lyrics.. really interesting results.
I'm a songwriter for many years like you said need to embrace this technology. It's a nice toolset to help you create good ideas. I use it to see what I come up with and then see about enhancing what comes out of it. But like you said it's about what you ask. It's what comes out. Alot of trail and error goes into it.
Chatgpt and i wrote this songlyrics together. he first start of the whole song. i modifeid the choruses.i think its decent. i alrady have melody made. I edited teh chorusses cuz as you said it sounds cheesy Heaven's above bHamzat and ChatGPT Verse 1: In my mind, we're on a lakeshore Ireland's beauty, forevermore A picnic spread, kids run around You and me, lost in our own sound Pre-Chorus: Fantasy or reality, it's hard to say But in my heart, you'll always stay I can't help but dream of what could be Even though you're not with me Chorus 1: Only you is what I crave In my mind, we've built a life that's made Of laughter, joy, and endless love You're a girl from heavens heaven's above You're the light in all my days Without you here my world just fades I always tryanna have your hug You're a girl from heavens heaven's above Verse 2: We jump into the lake, carefree You tell me, you're expecting baby three Pure bliss, can't help but smile I hold you close, for a little while Pre-Chorus: Fantasy or reality, it's hard to say But in my heart, you'll always stay I can't help but dream of what could be Even though you're not with me Chorus 2 I'll be with you, until the grave With all the memories we have made Of laughter, joy, and endless love You're a girl from heavens heaven's above You're the light in all my days When I was lost, you showed me ways Your lovely kiss is my own drug You're a girl from heavens heaven's above heaven's above heaven's above Guitar solo (FADE) ======
What if someone asks an AI service to write them a specific songs, such as a love story between two people each from a specific country. If the person then gives those lyrics to a singer to record, who would own the copyright and distribution rights on the song: The AI authors, the person who requested the specific lyrics, or the singer who records the song?
I messed around with Chat gpt and lyric writing for a weekend, but it doesn’t know to count syllables, so in the end it couldn’t really write lyrics properly. Each line it creates has a random number of syllables so it won’t fit pre-existing melodies. And if you write melodies based on it’s lyrics they won’t have the rhytmic structure most songs have.
The thing about chat gpt is it will take things very literal. Not are songs are syllabic so it created one that wasn’t. Next try instructing it to “write the song in a syllabic style”
well you say, im worse than a child at songwriting? 😤😬 ok, i tried chordprogressions with it, and it was realy bad. but lyrics? at least better than me.
I have noticed a lot of videos at low res recently, even large channels, seems RU-vid is messing with resolution on some, maybe a way of forcing people to pay for high res later on …
*makre sure to put your heart in it! the lyrics it generates are beautiful!* also detail in the descript: "dark" or "written for a minor scale" *for darker tone lyricisms!*
@@matteobarbieri1190 *whaaat that's sick I didnt know that this thing is SICK dude I have finished writing + recorded 3 really difficult songs already Im about to have 2 albums done on some of my most challenging instrumentals. Thank you for your addition!*
@@TAREEBITHETERRIBLE the bad thing is that ChatGPT block the creativity. I used it once but I compose music for fun (generally instrumental music). Our brain is 100% better than ChatGPT because we have feelings, soul etc
@@matteobarbieri1190 I know right. It's great for stuff you have half written (I had alot) I am great with coming up with catchy chorus'/hooks but verses I take ALOT of time to come up with their initial concepts - BUT once there I am great at modifying them to a finished state. Pacing oneself will work wonders with ChatGPT
