Every person and their dog have a unique relationship between each other. My hope is that I can help you discover the path to life with your dog! On Fridays Doggie Dojo will have dog training content that will help you focus on your goals with your dog, unite in understanding one another, and nourish your relationship to greater life together. Each video will have fun and inspiring content to help you train your dog. I also hope to find out more about you and your dog as the Doggie Dojo community grows to help us all have an amazing life with our canine companions.
That's great. We save our frozen marrow bones for that night. Dobes are fine, but the Beagle/JRT mix if she doesn't start with the bone BEFORE the fireworks start, forgettabout it, she's tapping out. So cute you guys!
Guess it kind of makes sense because they’re pretty young but then you don’t really get that same attachment to it that you would get from a younger puppy like they’re extensive trust which I mean you can still get later on but it’s a little bit harder to train them as well if you want to cooler breed that has more energy especially once they’re six months old so I think that’s a little old if it were me I would probably say 4 1/half to three months based on the breed, it’s energy size, gender etc. I think that some of some breeds specially nervous kind like borzoi would get really stressed out if it was younger age for importing so I suppose it kind of makes sense from another angle, but then they’re just used to travel so you get that as well hope this helps. You probably didn’t need this
Thank you for your perspective. It’s another way of looking at it. We won’t know the impact until the dust all settles. Either way there will need to be some new adaptation. The silver lining to see is that this brings the subject and the concern to more eyeballs. So hopefully generating positive change in the long run for the benefit to dogs and people. Hopefully…
Team Border Collie is my level. She also does HD, and all of a sudden with the change in bumpers to Atlas, she isn't going after the bumper. Any tips on trade out. I think one problem is she wants a ball for distance.
I just learned of this and would like to know if you can use your own commands or do they have to be the ones listed on AKC? For example, my dog already knows many of these tricks, but my commands are different. For example, instead of "circle right" I use "spin right." Instead of head down, I use "chill." Does it matter? I am not going to reteach my dog tricks he already knows giving them different names - just an exercise in confusion.
Hes so cute! is he a big dog breed or medium? We recently got new black lab puppy, hes 12 weeks old already, they are lots of work but totally worth it! Cant wait to see more! xxx
Yes! I also get my guys used to a frontal hug as my one Dobes is a therapy dog and that's what kids will often do - a frontal hug. Will fwd this one to my students. TY. Hope that helps.
Awesome. We have recall issues in the yard, I’m thinking we will do agility to see if we can do that. What are your thoughts, she worse with dh than me so we have been tag teaming and using my Aussie shepherd border collie cross to inspire this silly golden doodle of ours. Tx. Prayers to you and yours 🙏
I’m currently working on this very skill with my newest dog Disney! So glad that you are enjoying the videos. Let me know if you need other skills tackled!
