Riot made cannon for Arcane different from the cannon of the game, so nobody is gonna have plot armor and their arcs can end differently from the game characters. I doubt they will ever make Jinx as insane and mindlessly crazy like in the game because it's just reducing the character. This will be just a bad move
since arcane 1 i always wanted that magician to be Ryzecuz how he's travelling the world and trying to defuse/interfere anything related to Arcane and Runes catastrophes, while giving out a runic stone seems out of place for Ryze's character, he's also not that stone hearted to save a kid dying from cold so he could've just gave a stone with the teleportation powers (and that can also parallel with how the first thing Jayce made was hexgates cuz they can teleport) but he comes back to fix his mistake with giving people access to learn magic and stuff, idk im just yapping and coping here but I really hope he's Ryze and that's how they transition into other regions stories
The little skirt has a symbolism that even if vi is tough and a brawler she is still a female , arcane ruined this idea by making her the manly lesbian which is disgusting
I'm intrigued by that. There is definitely a bond there, because Caitlyn gives up her rifle to rescue Vi, and Vi knocks down a building to protect Caitlyn. It's a trauma bond so it could be anything from "hardcore pelvic crushing" to best friends forever because you saved my life. I'm ok with either.
Honestly the one thing i can say about powder is constantly being reminded of how that innocent child is going to become that obviously irredeemable character in league of legends
They DID NOT fix it at all! She looks worse! In fact her changed looked is the very reason I couldn't watch the show! by the way the change in the face that is awful but outfit I dont care!
Sevika and Ambessa represent the notion of "history repeats itself". Sevika is focused on Silco's legacy of creating an independent Zaun and Ambessa represents the continue authoritarian regime of Piltover that created tension between top and bottom side and the constant war between them. This show has brilliantly set up the plot to make both Jinx and Vi in positions of power to change this endless cycle with Vi being with Caitlyn who is chief of the enforcers and Jinx being the symbol of Zaun. The main question is, will Jinx see it this way or will both sisters sacrifice themselves for this change?
The song "get jinxd" should be the audio that represents her personality, just listen to the song to encapsulate perfectly what her personality should be.
I recommend a look at the League of Legends "Call of Power" cinematic for a glimpse of the "magic wielder" who was probably the one who inspired Jayce when he was a kid.
I rather have the LOL designs infinitely better. The Harley Quinn split in Jynx is intentional part of her design and it reflects easily in her gameplay and you are more likely to play crazily as her. Although they want to give reasons for her craziness in Arcane and subtly put Xs in her clothing, people tend to forget that people can also be crazy for the lulz. The LOL Jynx is psicopathic, its easy to see in the first glance and doesn't need a friggin reason to be crazy. Same goes to Vi. Vi is brute just because, and plays brute, but still keeps her femininity with her super model looks from the 80's and her subtle skirt in her armor. Because, guess what, Piltover is based on the Victorian style and Zaun is based on the futuristic views of the 80's movies. Why the need to put Vs in the clothing just for the sake of Vs and contrasting from Xs in Jynx, if your intention is to show the characterisation with the direct eye first impression? Want to show bruteness? You can just see her confident facial expression and how her mining gauntlets were highlighted in her game portrait. Want to contrast the differences to both of them? The hair colours, being in opposite teams and their interaction speak loudly by themselves. It's the story's duty to oppose them, not simple Xs and Vs on the clothing design. And it also happens with Caitlyn, which shows much better her sheriff, Victorian and posh characterisation and also still keeping her feminine and cartoony charm. While in Arcane, they changed her ethnicity to Asian (which I wouldn't mind as long as it is done right) in a European Victorian style city, made her even uglier and more somber, as the Arcane Vi and Arcane Jynx. Just a matter of tastes, I guess. We are currently in an era where the female characters are generally made uglier or manlier, have reasons for everything, and have some sort of queer or minority trait. At least, the Arcane story is good enough to outshine those characteristics
I think Jayce in the hexcore is similar to what we see in The Flash when Barry runs through the speed force and he came see things in the past, present, future, other dimensions, etc
In lore, Singed is responsible for the death of thousands of people. He created a chemical weapon that was so potent, it would fracture stone, and destroy the land that nothing would ever grow there again. Singed is responsible/intertwined with so many league characters, it's insane. Yet Riot won't give him a VGU.
