@@AnnJye I tried your prompt, it creates the core of the applicaiton with teachers, students courses and schedules and fees management. You can add the user groups / roles directly from the left menu (admin > users / groups) and then set permissions as we did in the video. I would implement push notifications through low-coding (operational hooks) so for this part you need to export the app from AppifyText and import it into your DaDaBIK installation.

@@AnnJye The application I got using your prompt allows, through the page "Schedules" to manage schedules, including cancellations and modification, which is what you asked.
In production means you (or someone else, for example your customers) are actively using the app; each app has an URL. To clarify: DaDaBIK is a model-based nocode/lowocode platform and not a code generator. You can deploy the app to your server (or your customer's server/hosting) but you can't upload it to GitHub to redistribute it, for example.
This is brilliant. I have a few ideas for MVPs and I will definitely give this a try in the next few days. One thing I like to mention that it would be great to get some idea what the ideal prompts are. You said keep it simple, clear, but it would be very useful to structure share a cheat sheet with some example s how to structure prompts so required features will be included for sure. I have been working with Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini and every single time I came to the realization that each platform needed their own prompts to deliver optimal results. They all have their advantages and disadvantages, but I usually have to modify prompts for each.
Thanks for the feedback. That's a good point. Generally speaking, I think it's important: 1) To give context 2) To specify the information you want to track; however, consider that the application is easily editable/customizable just after the creation without additional prompt iterations.

Hi, you can do that, you see the process starting from 01:34:18 . I exported the application created on appifytext, installed DaDaBIK on a common hosting platform and imported the application there.

Hi! :) You have built-in (no-code) email notifications when a new records is inserted or updated (see config parameters enable_insert_notice_email_sending and enable_update_notice_email_sending). For anything else, the easiest way is to use operational hooks and write some PHP to do what you need to do (e.g. call an API to send a text message) when something happens in your application. Popup notifications at the moment are not available, if you want you can add them to our feature requests forum, though.

I was very interested in using this until I discovered there is no barcode scanning support. So stock must be managed purely by data input or spreadsheet? Not very useful for most businesses sadly.
Hello, if you just need to enter a value (e.g. an ID) in a form, scanning it from a barcode instead of typing it, I don't think you need specific support from the platform, I think you can use most of the scanners as any other input device (replacing keyboard, if needed).

No, but please define "later", later when? We need an event to trigger the calculation. PS this is a very old video, there is a more recent video about calculated fields.

A little clarification about custom PHP pages: I said you have to create the *_beta.php version of each page. This is not correct, you will have an additional folder custom_php_files_beta and you will save there the beta version of your pages, with same name (but different fodlder). Templates and the files in the folder custom_functions work the same way.

Hi, a field must be in a table for using it in a standard DaDaBIK form. Maybe you could work with layout hooks and add some code to show the total in the page.

In /include/config_custom.php, as all the other config parameters. The list of the parameters is in /include/config.php. Check the documentation, chapter 6 - "The config.php and config_custom.php files"
You don't need cPanel to backup a DaDaBIK application; as I said in the video, I showed cPanel just because it's one of the most common web hosting control panels.
