Well… I’m from New Zealand (definitely not an Australian!), love watching the Olympics, and adore seeing my fellow NZers in any sport they are representing us in, but I am definitely looking forward to watching the Sport Climbing next week - it fascinated me in the Tokyo Olympics, four years feels like a long wait to watch it again! NZ only has three casinos, and I don’t live near those cities so I plan my trips in advance, we have pokies in most pubs (we call them pokies, not slots), the pub pokies here are regulated to a maximum of $2.50 a bet. The casinos here go up to a few hundred per bet, like your casinos. The gambling industry is heavily regulated here, but (and it’s a great but!), we don’t pay taxes on our wins!
