Great video. After a radiator swap and put everything back together and all of a sudden the passenger side lock will not unlock the hood so now I have to take the tire off and the plastic on the passenger front wheel and try this method thanks.
Got 1 of these, 240,000 miles. Replaced the radiator and the rear main seal had to be replaced last month . It gets regular maintenance and is my run around vehicle. I still like it.
Sounds very expensive to maintain and over designed. I wonder how many computer boards it has? Nice car but i thinks ill buy a RX 350 much better designed engine. Simple and to the point.
It’s naturally aspirated so you can’t make the significant gains from turbocharged engines. You can definitely still add some good power with an exhaust, high flow air filters & a good ecu tune. Probably a good 30-40 horsepower with much better torque curve and throttle response.
Truck i just got will go into gear and pull for a minute..then stop pulling..if i turn it off and wait a couple minutes and restart..it will fall into gear and pull again..when i connect scan tool it says no communication..help
Is it possible to show a bit more in detail about the hose modification you did toward the back of the engine just before removing the intake manifold? I began the process and the passenger side if rather easy but the driver side is pretty involved especially since it has the computer, computer mounting bracket, and transmission dipstick to contend with. This video I very appreciated. Please continue to make more with this engine. I have a 2014 GLK 350 4-Matic and need to perform this job.
Could the speed sensor cause an intermittent hard shift only when shifting from 4th to 5th gear? I can't figure out why, sometimes its smooth as butter and sometimes the car will cause a "thump" when shifting. Usually when accellating under higher load, it will linger the rpm when i left off the gas,....and then a delayed shift to 5th.

Bmw, or specifically rolls royce, claim the metal T fittings get a lot hotter than the plastic counter part and cause hose swelling and splitting earlier than if used with a plastic piece. While the T won't break, the hoses will and at an accelerated rate.
Hi. You might have an answer. I have P0741 for torque clutch solenoid. When putting in reverse it sometimes stalls. I replaced the fluid. But code still there. I also notice lower MPGs. Thanks.
Hi. my car pathfinder 2010 4.0 when changing gear from P to D or from R to D, there is always a delay of 2-3 seconds when shifting to D. The rest works very well. What can be? Electrovalve? I have new, original oil. Could some solenoid valve be responsible for this? while driving everything is ok. this is most noticeable when it's hot. and when I change from R to Drive. thank you for the information
Just a little tip, you don’t need to start the car to bleed the system. You simply turn heat all way up and blower on lowest fan speed then press gas petal for 12 seconds to the floor . You will hear the electrical pump start purging it cycles off and on for 10min roughly
