I just want to tell you that this video was such a blessing to me this morning. The DIYing & the room updates were a nice bonus and I love how you repurposed stuff you already had.....but the biblical meaning of this video just spoke to me. How often we need this reminder of being a good steward with ALL that the Lord has given us. Thank you for letting the HIM speak to you & remind us all of what is really important ❤
❓❓❓ Amber, your presentation with the music and intro card is so calming, I love it! I just love the end result and am going to use your ideas 👍. I just subscribed 😀. ❓❓❓What camera did you use when you filmed yourself inside the car and then in the bath?
@@sprucingupmayhemthank you for your quick response. An iPhone? I thought you used a big fancy camera! I also love that you included scripture at the end of your video; our world is sorely lacking God and many don't know him because they were not brought up thar way, so including His word will likely motivate someone to become interested in Him.
I’m new to your channel and have liked and subscribed! I love a nice bright and light bathroom! Your makeover is great! Love your paint color choices and combinations. Beautiful!😊
@@athomas6277 I love hearing about others with my name! That’s so special!! I’ve never actually met someone with the same pronunciation though! People ask me all the time if I’m named after the stone or the flower that sounds similar to amaris. Thank you so much for your sweet comment and it’s nice to meet you.🫶🏼
I think you were very ambitious to tackle this project with a baby at home with you all day! The room looks refreshed and so well put together. Congratulations on keeping to your zero dollar budget!
Beautiful job - however, the reason why your paint was chipping on your cabinet is because the sample is only for color purposes. It doesn't have all of the additives and adhesion that regular paint has. Not being negative but just wanted to let you know that if it starts to chip again, you may want to paint it with the actual paint and not a sample. I love the finished look!
@@sprucingupmayhem Glad I could help! I actually found out because I was doing the exact same thing trying to save some coins and a person at the paint store told me. Beautiful job nonetheless. I love the green!
This was so sweet and thoughtful of you! And I just love $0 budget projects; so satisfying to see the transformation but even more so when you know you accomplished it with items you had on hand! I love how it all came together!
You did so good esp with focusing on the details of everything your husband loves. It’s always the little things. Bravo girl you did an amazing job! 👏🏻
One of things we need to realize is that LIVING means we get dings here and there- physically, emotionally and our home’s furniture etc. Painting with satin or eggshell paint makes it easier to clean off the scuffs and touch ups 1-2 times a year, giving a good clean to wood furniture using wood cleaner and then repolishing it with a good bees wax product or liquid wax will make the furniture glow (I do a good clean 2-3 times a year), washing curtains/drapes and shampooing carpet/rugs, changing pictures to another room or area spruces up the home. Making a home and maintaining it with realistic expectations shouldn’t be a burden and trying to keep it looking like you just built it is very tiring psychologically and it will take all your time to maintain that “perfection”. Be perfectly imperfect because those scratches and dings means you and your family are living your life.
Thank you for reminding us of what we have is really the Lords. I become so complacent and take things for granted. I definitely need to become more intentional and love my home.
I love the way everything looks!! You did a fantastic job freshing up your furniture, door, and plant stands! The darker drapes are perfect!!! You definitely 'doubled' the dining room God gave you! Good job faithful servant! Thank you for sharing that Scripture. Hope you and your family have a blessed summer! God bless you! 😇🥰
I want to do the same. There are so many things needing done in my house, it just makes it look so bad. It’s totally my fault and pure laziness that it’s not already taken care of and I’m ashamed of my self! The things I have I prayed for and don’t even seem grateful. -Jen
@@robertsaddler8202 don’t be ashamed! One step at a time. One day at a time. Things didn’t get worn out in a day but am I sure glad that some things only take a day to make them look new again☺️. But it really is such a good thing to remind ourselves to appreciate and care for the blessings we prayed for long ago, even as we ask God for new blessings. Im not perfect and fall back into old ruts of being ungrateful and have to remind myself again. But even when we fail at being grateful today we can choose to be great full tomorrow and Gods mercy and grace covers the rest as we continue to repent and shift our perspective and turn toward Him🙏🏻♥️♥️ God bless you and thank you for being here.
*sigh* That is beautiful and looks very high-end too. I really like the sage green and would love to use it in my tiny kitchen but don't know if I'd get away with it - my husband hates green - but I could tell him it's sage blue 😆 might be worth a try.
I love that you are following your heart and God’s lead with where you take your channel! I really enjoyed all your shared and loved the style too…with recent happenings and outings rolling as you spoke! And your gallery wall turned out great! 🥰
