Hi, My Dearest Subscriber & Viewer! Thank you so much for checking out my channel (even if you randomly found it).
My name is Ese and I live in Ghana, West Africa. I was diagnosed with a mental health condition called Bipolar Disorder in 2015. This condition causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). These mood swings can affect sleep, energy, activity, judgment, behavior and the ability to think clearly.
At the beginning of my mental health journey, I made many mistakes due to my lack of knowledge about mental health.
Today, I am thriving and making great strides on my road to recovery as a result of the support of God, family, friends & mental health professionals.
I hope my channel offers you the chance to learn more about mental health & disabilities. The aim of this channel is to create awareness, fight against stigma and discrimination, one viewer at a time!
I like the fact that you bring in other related matters to address discrimination and stigmatization. I have learnt a lot about albinism today. Great work Ese.

Thank you both for sharing your lived experiences. As a UK-based Ghanaian Mental health nurse interested in improvements in service delivery in both Ghana and the UK, I found this conversation insightful. I pray you get to 1000 subs soon. Sharing.
