I like s mix of old & new but the UK scene is embarrassing compared to the vibrancy of Europe, Japan, South America etc. You still hear clueless old UK punks berating overseas punk scenes as well. I hope I get reincarnated as Swedish or Japanese.
Saw them at bracknell in 81, got the train back to Paddington to be meet by skinheads who had been at Southall watching the 4skins, interesting evening 😂
My cousin had a flat in surgeons hall, next to watty in the mid eighties . Sat on a wall one day, in my best company sweatshirt and G Villas trainers, a soccer casual. Wattty comes out the tenement and I says alright watty. Watty replies " fuck the casuals" laughs and walks on! 😂😂
Dla niektórych to może nowość. Ja spucham tej kapeli od wieków . Odkryłem Exploited jeszcze za komuny jak z kumplami z załogi stroszyliśmy pióra i chodziliśmy w naćwiekowanych skórach. Fakt że milicja spisywała nas za każdym rogiem ale ta muzyka rekompensowała wszystko. Wystarczyło posłuchać paru kawałków napić się piwa i poskakać z kumplami w cięźkich butach a świat robił się prawie piękny.
Has anyone listened to their demo tape where they try to sound like Sex Pistols? It's actually light years better. I'm glad they found their sound though. Irreplaceable band. One of my all time favorites.

Rat is a legend. VARUKERS are legends. From that time; DISCHARGE, VARUKERS, CHAOS UK, AMEBIX, BROKEN BONES, ENGLISH DOGS, ANTISECT, FLUX OF PINK INDIANS, GBH, CONFLICT, RUDIMENTARY PENI were the best bands in the land. I still love all of them as well as all the British, Swedish, US, Japanese, Italian Hardcore Punk Crust D-Beat & Grindcore & whatever you call it from then until now. I LOVE IT ALL!@@!#

Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the early days of G.B.H. live on stage, though, they did play a great Indianapolis show that I was quite happy to attend, a night they split stage time with Trouble, and Danzig, who was on tour supporting their second album, Lucifuge! Cheers!
