I've said it before and probably will again. Anyone who says a Christian is boring and no fun needs to watch some of the Cathedrals videos!!! GOD gave us the ability to laugh and smile. And I'm sure HE is pleased to see us enjoy ourselves in having some good clean fun!

I remember over 30 years ago my cousin talked me into going to see The Cathedrals. At the time i really didn't like them. But after seeing and hearing them in person and Georges jokes. He told that he had a heart attack and now he cries about anything. Glen said yeah we lost him the other day and we found him in a phone booth reading the pages crying his eyes out. It was great. Their singing was wonderful and ive been a big fan ever since
Awesome! Video just can’t relay how awesome they were in person. Those low notes that George hit would rattle the whole room. It was amazing to see as a young kid.
Roger Bennett is with them in heaven now as well. Roger grew up about 45 miles north of my hometown. Mark Trammell and I were born in the same hospital. He is several years older than I am but when he and his brother Jerry who sang with the Florida Boys and JD Sumner and The Stamps Quartet lived in my county where their Father pastored a Baptist church there.
These folks are very, very special to me. Hazel is my mother's sister, and I have always felt so honoured to know them and have always loved their music. It seems to me that Aunt Hazel looked pale here! xx
Just re discovered the Slaughters, what a blessing, I had all those albums back then, the good ol days of Dolby recording on chrome and metal tapes. So good to listen to all those songs again, may God bless them.
I loved every version (lineup) of the Cathedrals, and my sentimental favorites were the ones from the early 70s when I first saw them as a boy. But there is no denying....this lineup of George, Glen, Mark, Danny, and Roger.....was absolutely STACKED with talent, AND presented an unmatched anointing of the Holy Spirit!
Awe I'm so glad i found Tommey Stone again i meant him in new Hamphire and i jst love this man preaching hes in heaven now but still his voice and preaching are still being a blessing amen !!!
