I have had my Moose plow for 8 years mounted to my 2006 Yamaha Rhino. The older version I have doesn’t have the pulley. I like that addition. It has served me well. I bought it because of the ease of mounting and blade adjustment. Would I buy again? Heck Yes.
Something that cost that much should have a lot longer warranty than six months that tells me the maker doesn't have much confidence in their products.
How do u disconnect reverse speed limiter. U cant back up any kind of incline with it on. Found out hard way on WV farm when had to walk back to get ATV to pull up hill far enough to turn around.
I can not engage 4 WD on my Massimo 600 Big Buck. Fuse keeps blowing ....... any ideas?? this a 2008 and only has 85 miles on it. I've owned it since new.. Were can I get the wiring diagram for this??? Thanks Ed
Thats a good looking machine with lots of features and its way less expensive then polaris and can - am or yamaha i am thinking about getting this 500 for hunting, the terrain where i live is brutal on my f250 and my truck is just to big to get down some of the trails that go where i like to hunt
Great Question Lance. Most of my customers use the UTVs as a Work Horse so speeds and loads are a big factor. The 500 EFI engine is very efficient and self adjusts for temp and altitude to get the proper burn which passes EPA approval. If any one out there has actual MPG and or Hours per Gallon we would like to know. Most UTVs avg. 4 to5 miles per Hour when in use. You can see at that rate the MPG won't look good but the work it does is as efficient as it gets.
Your right, most retailers have no clue about what they are selling or how to get parts. We did much research on the HiSun product before putting our 28 year reputation on it. Once we were able to replace most of the parts with Yamaha's and the other way around, we haven't looked back. Now 6 years later we are still proud of the HiSun product and the updates they have made. As for your 300 UTV, I would like to see if I can help. Please send me as much info as you can & close-up pictures too.
