Just an old guy with a Huge Bucket List, a Nissan, a Can Am, Pet snakes, and bonsai trees. I have way to may failed hobbies that, for some reason I can't abandon. I call the Channel Frontier Spyder, but this is really about my whole life, my hobbies and crossing as many of the things off my bucket list as I can before I run out of time. I am going to put it all out there. The Reptiles, the Bonsai, the successful and failed attempts at my many hobbies, and of course the Nissan and the Can Am.
Don't look for the "Motivation and Inspiration".... it'll come to you. It's supposed to be fun, so make it that, instead of looking at it like a task. Hope this helps. When it hits, we'll be waiting.
I HATE my Spyder after needing a spark plug change that cost $960 at the dealer. Yes, spark plugs and a fuel filter. I'm selling it and will not look back
Yeah, service can be expensive and the dealer unreliable, but, if you figure out how to do some of the work yourself and find a local independent motorcycle dealer willing to work on Can Am, it can save some cas
I am sorry to hear that... I really would like to know what everyone has to say... I am kinda new, so if it is something I can change, I will... If it is RU-vid, that sucks...
I get that. All these vintage bikes from the 70s and early 80s, take a few seconds to get going. The sounds the smells and the in the end the competition and comradery makes it so worth it .
Hello! I just discovered your Channel, and yes, I made it to the end! I think you have a great channel! Hang in there, and tell your stories how you want them to be told! I'll search for more of your Videos! You just gained a subscriber!
Looks good. I would prrobably go to someone who repairs plastic parts and have it fixed, maybe with compound of sorts of fibre glass, then the whole piece painted. Cheers from a Swede in Mexico - Liked and subscribed.
Story of my life brotha. But it’s always a good day on a bike no matter who you ride with. Ride safe man and hope you can take that bike home soon. She’s sweet
The fix did not look too bad to be fair. I think Sling Mods do a tail tidy that can be bolted on under the rear brake light area? Might be something to consider?
Looking forward to this bought my 2016 SV last year changed all fluids and upgraded to semi offroad tires and went thru everything then a tree fell on it rebuilt it and doing a few mods but not changing suspension or shocks just yet
That sucks, but it is good that you got it rebuilt. As I mentioned in the Frontier returns video, I was rear ended and had to have the whole bed replaced. so I feel your pain. I am starting to accumulate the parts now, and I am working out what I am going to be able to do myself and what I will have to pay to get done.
